This Ukrainian lady took a phone call while walking on the beach then stopped walking and reflected after the conversation was finished.....

Found this old man enjoying the cool humid breeze flowing across the sea engulfed in deep thoughts. What was intriguing was he sat there for quite a long time before making his move and allowing me to click this pic of his

2025.

This morning I said goodbye to my mom, my dad and I packed up the car, met my first friend in kindergarten for coffee, said goodbye to her, drove to St. Louis to meet up with two of my friends Tay and Maddie for lunch, said goodbye to my dad, said goodbye to Tay, and then Maddie treated me to rock climbing. To say this day was emotionally draining would be putting it mildly. But I am grateful there are people in my life that are hard to say goodbye to; it makes reunions that much sweeter.

Rock climbing was the perfect way to end my time at home--insert metaphors for climbing mountains of upcoming challenges that life will most certainly bring. I say bring it on, because we rocked that rock wall. (:

Took this photo of the lady at the park relaxing on a Saturday afternoon. I greeted her as I first walked by her. Then started taking photos of some roses nearby her. When she wasn't looking, I snuck in a couple of photos of her as her concentration intrigued me. GH2 + Oly 14-150.

There were other monkeys which were actively participating in random brawls and fun activities while this one just looked on as if in a deep thought!... Seemed to be the wisest of them all... I really wondered what it could have possibly been thinking about!

Life sometimes has a way of throwing you a curveball ..... what seems like a sneaky pitch, but a pitch you have to face head on. Even after a strikeout, the seasoned batter takes the bench in stride and reflects. What went wrong, will he get to bat again in this inning, perhaps he needs a break for a couple of innings to get his game strategy on focus. By the way, I'm not sure where all this baseball talk is coming from.....hmm, guess I just feel like rambling out a few thoughts.....

Noah, my grand son came to see me one day and he seemed so deep in thought

Today's Mission 24 is Present.

Present - a gift

Present - now

An unexpected gift that reminded me to take a moment to stop and reflect on the small joys that every day brings . So often, I focus on all the small annoyances of my day, things that have happened in the past, worries about the future.

I'm also adding this to TRP; thanks to ascias for the great topic: What is your passion? Photography has truly helped me stop and see the world around me and be more present in my daily life. (Some would say verging on obsessive passion but hey, it could be worse!)

[GRAY SKINNED PHOTO - A MONOTONOUS FEELING]

@One Elizabeth Place, Talamban, Cebu City

Gray is the color of intellect, knowledge, and wisdom. It is perceived as long-lasting, classic, and often as sleek or refined. It is a color that is dignified, conservative, and carries authority. Gray is controlled and inconspicuous and is considered a color of compromise, perhaps because it sits between the extremes of black and white. Gray is a perfect neutral, which is why I use it as a background color.

Squared in bars of meta protruding from the cemented ground, l was in the ditch of temporary lost thinking. I figured the essence of the significant color. On my head says: When I photographed myself in color, I photographed my clothes. But when I photographed myself in Black and white, I found the photograph of my soul!

roxy's head is about the size of a cinder block. fortunately she's incredibly sweet, playful and a bit of a chicken, so even the parts attached to the cinder block aren't much of a threat. unless she steps on your foot. she can't seem to fathom that her delicate little paw is like having an oldsmobile parked on your toes.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Where does "Is" become "was"? "Have" become "had"? and "Love" become "loved"?

"We are either alone in this universe, or we are not. Both are equally terrifying."

So where are you now? When I need you the most. Do you see right through me, or am I blocking your view? Don't answer with your words, you already have with your actions. When neither answer is one of comfort what can you say?
