Camera: Canon AE-1
Film: Fuji Velvia 50
Lens: Canon FD 50mm f/1.4
Came out of the camera as is. No editing, no filters. This is why I shoot film. Velvia has a stunning ability to capture rich, deep colors. The day I took this, the weather was incredible, with perfectly clear deep blue Colorado skies. The camera was able capture it just as I saw it.

The bottom of Deep Well (298'). The water in the picture is the Tennessee River, having flooded some springs in the lower sections of the valley it now partially fills this cave. The water level in the bottom of the pit rises with that of the river, it even gets nasty and brown! The water was clear blue-green when we were there, you could see the muddy bottom about ten feet under water.

It doesn't look like much. Some mundane hillside you passwithout thinking.
But those lines mean something- time, long passages of time. If I got anything from my years of studying geology, it was an appreciation for spans of time that do not even make sense on a human scale.
In this hillside are eons (maybe) of rivers flowing past, meandering back and forth, drying and flooding, animals living/dying, entire generations coming and going... and all this stuff of importance, is a blink.
Time is deeper and more incomprehensible than anything

Malá Strana (in English literally "Little Side", though more frequently referred to as "Lesser Town", "Lesser Quarter", or "Lesser Side") was originally a popular and nowadays also the official name for the former Menší město pražské ("The Lesser Town of Prague"), one of Prague's historical and oldest boroughs.
Its name comes from its position on the left (west) bank of the river Vltava, on the slopes just below the Prague Castle, in opposition to the larger towns of Prague on the right bank, to which it is conjoined by the Charles Bridge.
In the Middle Ages, it was a dominant centre of the ethnic German civilians of Prague. It also housed a large number of noble palaces while the right-bank towns were comparatively more bourgeois and more Bohemian Czech.
The famous Czech novelist Jan Neruda was born, lived in and wrote about Malá Strana; Nerudova street is named after him.
The famous statue of the Holy Infant Jesus of Prague is located in the Church of Our Lady Victorious in Malá Strana, Prague. The devotion and the church drawed millions of Roman Catholic faithful to Malá Strana throughout the years.
This is one project I had to invent for one of my advertising major exercises.
It aims at being an editorial page for a cosmetic magazine folder.
