Blue is considered the favorite color of most people. Sky, water, jeans - we find it everywhere :)
Sunset on truly cloud days is typically a bust. Sometimes you get lucky, get a lovely diffused glow through the clouds, light into the scene. I got something like that on this trip, haze was building within the mountains once more, heavy fog and misty rolling through the valley paths bellow. It was still fun standing on the road side, people slowly parking around me just to find out what it was I was looking at. Finally another photographer turned up, he was more interested in the sky than the valley, but still, sometimes its nice to talk to someone like minded.

Thought I would change to low key for today's floral delight. The deep reds of this one merged into the dark background give it a very soft appearance.

The Deep is a public aquarium situated at Sammy's Point, at the confluence of the River Hull and the Humber Estuary in Hull, England. It opened in March 2002.
Billed as "the world's only submarium", the exhibits contain thousands of sea creatures (including seven species of shark), 2,500,000 litres (550,000 imp gal) of water and 87 tonnes (86 long tons) of salt housed in a building .....

Pictured here is a blue hour view of Jennette's Pier, one of the more popular fishing piers found on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
There was still a lot of activity along the pier at this time... Some folks were still fishing, while others were simply enjoying a beautiful evening view of the Atlantic. You really couldn't go wrong either way.
