Why that title? Well, tulips symbolise perfection and deep love!

Stay Safe and Healthy Everyone!

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all!

Testing new light painting/plastic combo for dense, small starfield and elliptical galaxies.

Single exposure. Nebula pattern created using new Waterworld technique - 100mm lens. Galaxies using light painted plastic, and star field using LED's and laser, some with 0.003-inch (8X) flyfishing line on lens to create cross-shaped diffraction patterns - 16-35mm lens at 20mm-35mm. No other significant Photoshop manipulations, except image resize.

We've got some daisies for my gran on her birthday! :)

According to a couple of websites the entrance to the nature reserve was closed at one end, so we took a long detour to reach the other. Turned out the path was open both ways, making this detour redundant

Milford Cruise-in held in Milford, Ohio.

Deep in the forest, a mountain stream is flowing subtly.

Walking in the foggy forest. November 2021. Very atmospheric fairy tale forest ambience. Stood there for a long time photographing and enjoying the atmosphere. Near Bern, Switzerland.

Still cruising the Scutum Centaurus Arm of the Milky Way galaxy, the Hullbull Remote Space Telescope peers into a dense nebula and captures an image of a binary protostar system in early stages of development.

Not a real space photo. Light art.

Two exposures, 100mm lens: Waterworld technique (handheld) used to create blue/yellow/red nebula pattern. Recompose on tripod for second exposure using water droplets, blue, red, yellow, and white LEDs to create background star field, selective masking to eliminate "stars" behind nebula (black matting); Waterworld technique again to create two protostar patterns, two focal distances, Waterworld combined with droplet technique to create protoplanets/asteroids in protoplanetary disk of left protostar. Protodifficult.

I found myself here last night, so I made a frame of the Ben Franklin Bridge. What drew me to this particular vantage point was a sign that said something to the effect of: "Deep Fryers are prohibited on Marina Property".

With my Fry Daddy in hand, I had to double back and find somewhere else to plug in.

This one is a blend of 2 long and 1 short exposures, taken over the span of several weeks.

Minnos is kinda like a lake. When the winter comes, he's icy and hard on the surface, but during summer, he's calm and full of life. He knows exactly when to be one way or the other.

Deep South. And I say that in the most relative terms because this was taken in Scotland. The Mull of Galloway is the most southernly point of Scotland. To put this in perspective; It shares its longitude with Newcastle. The sights from the Mull of Galloway lighthouse are incredible and involve dramatic cliffs, the sprawling Irish sea and - on a clear day - Belfast and Northern Ireland.

Deep Purple are an English rock band formed in Hertford in 1968.They are considered to be among the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock, although some band members claimed that their music cannot be categorised as belonging to any one genre. They were once listed by the Guinness Book of World Records as "the globe's loudest band", and have sold over 100 million albums worldwide, including 7.5 million certified units in the US. Deep Purple were ranked number 22 on VH1's Greatest Artists of Hard Rock programme.

The IDIOTs (Intergalactic Digital Imaging Optical Technicians) have processed an image captured by the Hullbull Remote Space Telescope of uncataloged nebulae and star systems seen in a galaxy in the Abell 2744 cluster.

Not a real space image. Light art.

Composite of two unaltered photographs. One image using lensless Waterworld technique to create nebula patterns with green, red, and blue LEDs. Second long exposure designed and implemented based on lensless Waterworld image geometry, 100mm lens (base layer/EXIF data) to create stars; 4 "burns" to create segregated star color patterns using water droplet technique and red, white, blue, and yellow colored LEDs; cover/recompose, create larger stars using blue, green, red LEDs, then white LED light painted plastic to create background galaxies.
