“When photographing women, we have three paths: photograph them with the "male gaze” ; photograph them as "photographer eyes” and photograph them as "poet feeling”. I always try to be the three ...” by Old Roger

I love them, they last at least 2 weeks in a vase. Beauties.
Alstroemeria, the genus named after the Swedish baron Alströmer who brought them back from a trip to South America in 1753.
Also called the Peruvian Lily or Inca Lily, is a South American genus of about 50 species of flowering plants.
Almost all of the species are restricted to one of two distinct centers of diversity, one in central Chile, the other in eastern Brazil.
Species of Alstroemeria from the Atacama Desert of Chile are winter-growing plants while those of Brazil are summer-growing.
The flower, which resembles a miniature lily, is very popular for bouquets and flower arrangements in the commercial cut flower trade.
Have a lovely day and as always, THANK you for your time, M, (*_*)

Deep in the Ore Mountains exists an abandoned steam rail track. Many fairy tales are surrounding this place, some of them are true, others are invented ... .
Thanks for coming and have a good night!

I probably should have titled it, "Deep. Blue. Background." The reason is because this is Crater Lake, Oregon. Not far from here it reaches a depth of 1,949 feet. It's in the top ten of deepest lakes in the world with it's ranking varying based on what a particular list bases it's measurements. (Southern Oregon Cascades trip DSC_7943.jpg)

So now I had the time, I gave this shot of the whole time a quick edit. I hope you like it, although I know the backdrop is really messed up. This thing was way to huge for my setup! So this is the last one of these that I think I'll upload, since there have already been quite a few shots of the tanker car. Another Russian monster is on it's way though! This time it might not just be the length of a SHIP, it might even look like one! Let's see if I can pull it off this week, in which case you could expect it Saturday. Thank you again for all the support, guys :) !
