Já que não fiz declutter no banheiro (porque não tinha o que jogar fora), ataquei os arquivos do escritório. Saiu um saco cheio de recibos, fotos, manuais e cds desnecessários.
It's day 20 of my 30-Day challenge, and today I freaked out a whole bunch of my coworkers by cleaning out my desk. We're in the middle of a "not-merger" so they were a little concerned when I started emptying desk drawers onto the floor, but once I re-assured them it was just a cleaning spree, everybody was happy to raid the piles of office supplies, computer parts, and random cables. And at the end of it all, I went from 5 overflowing drawers full of rat's nests of cabling, to 5 nearly empty drawers with their contents sorted by type and organized neatly. Plus a few more items to add to the Donate pile that I don't need at the office anymore.
... and still treasured and kept for some while ... and then DECLUTTERING after all ...

During today's cleaning and sorting of the "scary closet" in the 2nd bedroom, Max was his usual helpful self, keeping an eye on all the "to donate" items that I was tossing on the spare bed.

This is the guest trundle bed that sits against the window. I hung the candle sconces a couple days ago - that's why the drill is still sitting out on the bed. I also need to find a better place to store extra pillows and blankets - I'm thinking a large basket placed on one of the bookcase shelves. I also want to buy candles in a different color, so they stand out a bit more on the wall.

‘I know’ I sighed ‘this has become the room that all of our junk has got dumped in. Once it had been cleared it will become my bedroom’
Boba then helped me make a start to the mass declutter. We made really good progress today. Hopefully it will continue.

I managed to remove over 40 items from this cabinet: expired medicines, nail polish I don't like, sample sized cosmetics. I guess it was cluttered after all.

My hoard of computer cables. I've not touched most of them for over 7 years. Take the Centronics parallel printer cable in the bottom right corner, for example. Printers started going USB about 9 years ago, and haven't looked back since.
All gone to be recycled as my local council waste disposal service at Grunty Fen see fit.
