Multiple uses - Put your feet up or sit on the coffee table, store your stuff away to declutter, and a place to put your glass.
It's day 18 of my 30 Day "D" challenge, and today's project was to Declutter (yes, I'm adding "D's" as I go) the cabinet under my bathroom sink. It's a huge double-door cabinet with very little to get in the way of things, so I'd crammed it with multiple storage bins packed with all kinds of random bathroom-related items. Today I emptied it all out, Dumped or Donated all of the things I don't need, and kept just 3 small bins of lotions, potions, and necessities. Now I can actually find what's under there, my travel kit fits nicely, I can get to the spare Kleenex. . . it's actually a rather happy space.

Forgot to take a picture specifically for 366 group, so I'll have to use my picture when I was documenting my declutter day. We spent July 4th holiday doing chores. We got in so deep and over our heads, we didn't even go watch fireworks. sorry son!
The hubby was right in the middle of building our new shed, and then it looked like it was going to thunderstorm (which it did) anyhow. I found every bag in my mud room. I have way too many! I organized them on one strap that hangs on the inside of the coat closet. Now I don't have to look at bags hanging all over my mud room when I first enter the house.
Is there a way to change the date on Flickr to show images were taken on July 4th? Because I merged the two photos, it created a new photo date. My 366 PAD set doesn't sort correctly.
As your personal organizer, I will help you make positive choices to alter your physical surroundings to be organized, uncluttered and accessible.
There was lots more a bit South of us, but we were walked out. This is for Charlotte. She lives in London, is a most fine lady, and likes ice. Probably because she lives where there is none to speak
of.
Once upon a time she turned me on to declutter, which I did not use then but started to use lately.
Like THIS. (Do It!)

I spent a bit of time looking into external hard disk storage this morning. As usual, it seems that more recent HDDs are more complex than they used to be, so I'll stick with what I've got, and have put 'declutter computer files' on my to do list! I'm pretty organised about such things (compared to some people, who don't even think about it!), but I'm sure there are things I'm keeping which I don't need to, and which be of no use or interest to anyone once I've gone!
I enjoyed swimming today - as I always do - and it was a fairly quiet session, so all the more enjoyable.
Then I went on to Witney to get some shopping in the town, and to visit a few charity shops, before going to Sainsbury's for the food shopping.
This evening, our son, daughter-in-law and grandson are coming for the weekend, from Southend. They're stopping on the way, to eat, so it'll be Frankie's bedtime when they arrive.

When it comes to keeping your family organized, you definitely need to ensure that your laundry is taken care of. There are many ways to keep organized and help ensure that your laundry gets adequately sorted and put away. One of the best tools you can choose is a collapsible laundry basket.
Collapsible laundry baskets are straightforward to use. They can be put into tight spaces, are easy to maneuver around the house with, and are more durable than other laundry baskets on the market.
If you're looking for a way to declutter, make sure you consider a collapsible laundry basket.
Uses for Your Collapsible Laundry Basket
There are many uses that you can find for your collapsible laundry basket. It's not just a way to transport laundry, but it's a way to store items. For example, you have too many kids' toys in the playroom, and you need a place for them to go. But a collapsible laundry basket is an excellent place for you to put them.
You could even use your collapsible laundry basket in your room as storage. For example, perhaps you have so many blankets you don't know where to put them. You can put them in your laundry basket. You can also go ahead and send your college-aged kids with collapsible laundry baskets. Your kids can quickly put them underneath their bed when they're not using them.
How to Choose a Collapsible Laundry Basket
When looking to get the right collapsible laundry basket for your home, it's essential to make sure you choose appropriately.

About 25 years ago, the photographs were left to my parents in a Will by their next door neighbour of 30 years. At the time I said I'd look after them. Decluttering the attic I found the box with them all in. Many of them were taken in Norwich photography studios. I'm trying to date them as there's not much information on them. I guess they must be late 19C. They are not being added to the declutter pile. I'll carry on looking after them.
The kitchen will need to be redone eventually. The flooring is gross. Underneath would be the original hardwood flooring. Not sure what we will do with this room. Have an idea to knock out the wall on the right to exapnd the kitchen as there is alot of extra side yard space beyond it..then I could have a large dining area or many other possibilies...probably too expensive to do this though right now. sigh.. the present owner did not clean up/declutter any of the rooms on the first floor. Our hope is that once all the stuff is moved out, we will have time to do floors and paint before we move in.
The state of my dining area while moving stuff out of the way for the Pax wardrobe :(

i just moved a giant table out of my sewing area and now i'm trying to declutter and organize stuff so i can change the room around. it' hard because i have no where to put stuff except piled on top of other piles.
check it out in large size
It's the last day of my 30 Day challenge, and today, I decided to finish Dealing with the Dressers. At various points in the last 30 days I've cleaned out a Drawer here and there, and cut down on the amount of stuff in the three (yes, 3!) Dressers in my bedroom. Today I decided it was time for the final push to be able to replace the 2 large dressers with 2 small dressers (1 current, 1 new.) So I Dug through the last few Drawers that I hadn't sorted yet, and ended up with another pile of Donations. Then I removed 1 big Dresser, and put the small dresser in its place. It immediately made the room feel more open (not to mention I can reach the light switch now) and I can't wait to get the other big Dresser out and the 2nd small Dresser in its place (after yet another trip to Ikea, that is.)
I am a life-long pack rat, I seldom let anything go, some are special gifts from friends, some are just things I found but no matter they all seemed important to me.
However, last April when I was struck by a car even I was lucky not suffer any major injury. I started to think about all the stuff I collected could be a big burden to my families and friends if I gone.
As the year of 2010 was reaching the last days I finally had an idea: to declutter my life! My New Year resolution is to give away at least one item I own each day. I will post the photos of each item and how I came to them and what I plan to do with it.
My first item to give away is this miss piggy tea pot. I brought this many years ago at St Lawrence Sunday market, I can’t remember why I brought it and I never even use it once. Now it is going to a lady she collects tea pot. So it is going to a good home.
