One of my favorite wall murals is this one painted by artist Morgan Bricca. It resides on the back entrance to the Crouching Tiger Restaurant in Redwood City. The red door on the right leads into the restaurant and to some of the best Chinese food I've eaten. The road to the left leads into a beautiful scene in Mainland China. Sometimes it's hard to decide which way to go.

I did decide to put her back in the box. I just feel like Barbies look better when they're in the box, and it was just her hair that was really bugging me so I knew I had to fix it. Overall I could not be happier with the result!
Paros, one of the most charming places we've ever visited. For most tourists just a spot they visit for 1-3 nights, for some people, place where they decide to spend the rest of their lives, for us it was a perfect holiday destination, especially wonderful in the morning when tourists were still asleep.
Paros (/ˈpɛərɒs/; Greek: Πάρος [ˈparos]; Venetian: Paro) is a Greek island in the central Aegean Sea. Part of the Cyclades island group, it lies to the west of Naxos, from which it is separated by a channel about 8 kilometres (5 miles) wide. It lies approximately 150 km (93 miles) south-east of Piraeus. The Municipality of Paros includes numerous uninhabited offshore islets totaling 196.308 square kilometres (75.795 sq mi) of land. Its nearest neighbor is the municipality of Antiparos, which lies to its southwest. In ancient Greece, the city-state of Paros was located on the island.
Historically, Paros was known for its fine white marble, which gave rise to the term Parian to describe marble or china of similar qualities. Today, abandoned marble quarries and mines (with some still being in use) can be found on the island, but Paros is primarily known as a popular tourist spot.

Sometimes I decide to go down a narrow winding country lane just to see what's at the bottom, and that was how I came across Terras Bridge, which is about one mile north of Looe in south-east Cornwall. This shot, taken from the bridge, looks upriver to the north.
The bridge dates from around 1825, and it was around this time that a canal was dug alongside the river, starting just to the south of this bridge, to connect Looe to Liskeard. It was originally used to carry sea-sand and lime to help improve the acid soil of the farmers' fields. (You'll see numerous lime kilns in this part of the country, and as Cornwall has no limestone of its own it needed to be brought in by sea.) Then coming back the other way from about 1843 it would bring tin and copper ore from the Caradon Hill area of Bodmin Moor by way of the Liskeard & Caradon mineral railway. That railway line ended at Moorswater just outside Liskeard, as did the canal.
The canal company decided to build the railway (as an extension of the other line) alongside their canal in around 1860, and this of course eventually made the canal itself redundant. These days the railway line brings visitors to Looe from Liskeard in a single diesel-powered coach, though when I first came here in the mid-50s a steam tank-engine (think Thomas!) used to haul two carriages. It was how I arrived in Looe with my parents for my first holiday in Cornwall.
I wanted to sweep up the glittering Sea, put it in my basket & take it home with me but my basket was full of holes.
I also wanted to post it in color, then I wanted to post it with a Plume Daguerreotype effect, but I couldn't make up my mind.
You decide: Color or Plumbe Daguerreotype

The same shot I posted a couple of weeks back, prepared at the same time and couldn't decide which one I like better. Now I think I prefer this inverted colour one more..
Feeling bit uninspired at the moment, hopefully will pick-up soon.
Couldn't decide which one, so you get two :-))
When I saw this place I had to think of movies like "The Legend" with Will Smith
or "Mad Max" with Mel Gibson...
Great sim to check out at S.I.C49 (Tnx Gabrielle for the tip ^_^ )

Both shots taken at Bracelet Bay, Mumbles today. I went for a long exposure shot just to make it look a bit different! One version is almost black and white while the other has more colour - I couldn't decide which I preferred to thought I would upload both!
After much deliberation over whether I want to keep posting on here, and a complete lack of motivation to get anything done, I've decided to just go through as many somewhat decent photos I've taken, up until I reach 1000 photos. I'm not sure what I'll decide to do then.
Starting from a few from October 15th, the last day I went to look for a few cars I'd found on Street View. This Volvo was registered in Coventry and has been on SORN and without an MOT since 2018. Its current owner appears to have acquired it and never bothered getting it MOT'd. Not surprisingly, 225 740 GLs remain on our roads.
Another photo that I liked a lot. I watched this Carolina Wren perched for quite awhile before deciding to take some clicks. The way the light was hitting it was surreal. Thankfully, I managed to get off 3 clicks before it flew off. This was my first click.
