A day at Deception Pass. New digital camera that I won for free... they're just not worth even naming.
I would usually photograph these falls with a slow shutter speed, however, I decided to capture the mighty spring runoff with a faster shutter to freeze the action. I certainly would not want to fall in!!

This is a view of Deception Pass from the north tip of Whidbey Island, right on the edge of the bridge. The pass separates the two major islands of Fidalgo and Whidbey, but also contains several smaller islands. That small one you see is Strawberry Island.
December 15, 2013 Photo Courtesy: Dennis Reda. Deception Pass State Park is a very unique park which spans Anacordes and Whidbey Islands. The trails in the park are challenging when linked together in a 50K race. Taken individually, I'm sure they would make for excellent excursions either as romantic rambles or as family fun times.
Arcane Deception is a melodic death metal band formed in November 2008. The band members had been playing in different bands before they came together to form AD. All of them bring different inspirations to the band which gives AD a unique sound which essentially comprises of the basic metal elements coupled with melody and progressive, groovy rhythms. The band's first show was at SRCC, Delhi where it was heavily appreciated and was declared the second best band (along with its keyboardist getting the best musician award)! The band also performed at the WAR OF ROCK at Ansal Plaza (31st Dec 2008) with bands like Parikrama and Soulmate headlining the same show
