Every spring, during Cherry Blossom season, I'd make a point of running from the Pentagon over the Potomac to the Tidal Basin to see the MLK and Lincoln memorials. Always inspiring and absolutely the best time of year to go for a run in DC.
I wish I also could have captured the pure joy that must have been on my face as an incredible tailwind pushed me across the river on Memorial Bridge. It was crazy how strong it was!
Running back... maybe not so much fun.
