Dear John and Savannah,

I will never learn more than what I learned in the past two hours watching your story. You two have taught me one of the most important life lessons I will probably ever learn. You taught me to love unconditionally; even when it hurts the most. You taught me what love is. You taught me that no matter how far apart the world may bring you, love will always bring you back together. Because it’s people that walk away from people; love stays right in our hearts. And even when each others’ paths collide back into each other, the love collides back into both of our hearts, too. Just like we hold each other close when we haven’t seen someone in a long time, the love holds onto each of our hearts; keeping them close, telling them this is where they belong.

You see, love is destiny and destiny has a way of finding you when you least expect it. No matter how far you may grow apart, no matter what paths you take to sometimes get away, you often find your destiny on the road you take to avoid it. And no matter how much time has passed, no matter how much each of you have changed, the love is exactly how you left it.

Love is a promise. Love reassures you to never lose hope. Love is what tells you everything is going to be okay. I know now that everything is going to be okay. And for that, I just want to say thank you.

Love Always,

Makayla

^That's what the letter in the picture days. Rather than you having to view it large and trying to read it.

P.S. I always sign my letters with a weird, quickly drawn heart between the "Love" and "Always"

I’m sorry I haven’t been producing really great pictures lately. This is pretty grainy and conceptionless (that’s not a word but I’m making it up) But I watched the movie Dear John today and boy did I cry my eyes out. They should put a warning sign on love movies not to watch them if you had just gotten in a fight with your boyfriend..especially when it’s that oh so wonderful moment of the month and you cry about EVERYTHING -_- Sorry Flickr for being blunt.

I will catch up on everyone's streams contact notifications and flickrmail later. Right now my head is pounding but I don't want you to think I forgot about you =/

I want someone to hold me and never let go and whisper in my ear “I love you”

hi guys. i'm alive.

yeah, i've been basically awol for the past 4 days or so. sorry :[

i have quite a lot of catching up to do, and i'm hoping to get it all done soon. i'm all out of ideas for pictures so i'll need to fix that as well, by looking through the explore pages and finding inspiration :]

on friday, i saw a friend of mine for the first time since june. i basically grew up with her, and i haven't seen much of her for the past 3 years or so. so it was really, really great to be able to catch up, especially before she leaves for college in summer. <3

i wish i wrote in cursive all the time.

at the moment, i'm dipping thin mints in coffee. it's actually really good.

A few days ago I saw a picture by Brittany_83 called "Daydreaming". I really liked it and decided that I would try my own, being that I'm a dreamer as well. I like hers better though.

It turns out that the metallic Domos are very sensitive to the sun.

Small People or Giant Structure?

The sun finally came out this week and I was able to grab some early morning light. I thought about cloning out my shadow but what fun would that be? Weather is supposed to warm up quite a bit by the weekend so I think we can safely say winter is over. Knock on wood.

november 16, 2009. day onehundredfourteen.

view if you'd like.

damn,

i love outdoor shoots,

but the thing is, i usually dont have the inspiration, the effort, or the energy to take a picture durring the day,

thats why most of my pictures are indoors and at night.

it took everything i had to not fall asleep on my couch tonight.

i really wanted that nap though, damn.

hmm. apparently i have a small face and very delicate features,

thats what people tell me.

haha

idk, i guess its a good thing.

my dad used to tell me that when he was little he only had one pair of pants.

on saturday morning he claims he had to sit on his bed in his underwear while his mom washed his pants.

he also had to walk 2 miles, up hill in the snow to school every day.

many worlds there are

beyond this sky

...just take a walk

Begin to see yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul.. ~Wayne Dyer

Stop..think about this quote…think about it some more…yeah it got me thinking too…

and in case you all were wondering this is part 2 of day 57/365 dedication taken to another level, I cannot say enough about the support I get from Mer, the fact that she spends all day teaching 4th graders, doing her boot camp thing, and at the end of the night when the last bit of energy she saved up to say I love you, somehow finds a bit more energy to put up with me and this project…that's seeing your soul with a body !!..love you mama

P.S. Again with the goose bumps, although Mer had on her t-shirt and PJ's the garage/studio was a bit cold, this time I had nothing to do with the goose bumps action...hahaha

hope everyone has a wonderful wk end !!

Dressing for the warm weather! I'm going to see my cousins today so I was up "bright and early" (in my point of view). I feel happier in this nice weather..

Day 114 of 365

April 23, 2008

(365 Days)

I had this crazy idea that people downtown might really enjoy seeing my newest Superhero outfit. So I took a walk down Broadway Ave. and let some people in a cafe see what I had. Then, I was gone in a Flash!

today was a day of change.

change in photography.

i really got bored of my stuff. just always the same.

i had already that idea, and sometimes i got another direction, but anyhow, i got on the same road every time, over and over again.

i asked some advice at some flickr friends. eric, ryan, .. and they really kindof pushed me in something different.

thanks for that.

i also am finally using CS4. had it already on my mac for 2 months, but i still sticked to GIMP cause i know a lot in that program and editing went really fast that way.

it's strange, cause in life, i need constant change. in this photography creativity thing, i didn't want to change.

so. please. tell me if you get bored of my stuff, like i did. force me in another direction.

Day 114: The best bed in the world is a comfy hammock on a nice day.

I think I'm going to try a themed week. Maybe I wont keep it up, but maybe I'll try and only show myself in the great outdoors for seven whole days... Let's hope the rains have stopped for a while...

yokohama midnight, at music bar in hotel, waiting for you...

Day 114 - I'm growing pretty tired of my face in this project right now. As a result, I'm using this as an opportunity to find more interesting compositions of light, shadow and shape.

Shot on iPhone 6.

My daughter plays netball for her school on the weekends. At some of the games I noticed a few mum's had the school cap with the word Mum written on the back. Jealous much? You bet. So I ordered one, but with a slight difference.

Go Somerville!

Am SOOoooo sleepy.

Better photo tomorrow - I promise!!!

Polymer, copper, sterling silver, metal powder.

The copper piece was scrap--that's why it looks so rough.

I struggled to decide what my photo for the day was going to be today for my project 365! I had three contenders, but decided on this one because I really like the colours the iPhone has captured!

I'll upload the others later, and you can decide whether I made the right choice or not! :)

Where could Bunny be? Found under her favorite soft blanket, I see. I wonder if the forecast for rain all day tomorrow has something to do with this...

Another trip to the park with the boys ... and the furry boys too!

They love to follow us when we walk about the village, which the kids love! Here they are sitting under the shade of the tree eyes firmly rooted on a blackbird hopping along the fence!

day one-hundred-and-fourteen. digital double exposure. bad start to a good day. i have the best best friend in the whole world. i love her to death. she came and picked me up around 1:00p.m. and then we went to her house and talked, she always makes me feel better. then we went to office depot and looked at cute supplies for college and then we went to target and looked at baby clothes (they are so cute) and more supplies. then we rushed to the movies to see dance flick. rreaallyyy dumb movie, by the way. it was all over the place and completely stupid. we would constantly look at each other with a "seriously??" or "wtf is going on?" expression. it was dumb, to say the least. but it made me laugh because it was so weird. and then i came home and ran. after i got done running i went to sweets with kira, emily, ivan, and ally. i finally met ally in person, we've been meaning to get together for the longest time but something always conflicts. we can really relate to each other, i'm so glad we finally met. it was so much fun. now it is really late, or early rather, i probably won't be able to get to sleep, and i have to wake up early to go see "up" with my family.

but yeah. bad/good day.
