This hummingbird looks like he has been busy feeding at flowers in the area. He has lots of pollen on his bill and forehead. Black-chinned hummingbirds nest in the Dave Mountains of West Texas. I wish he picked the branch closest to me to perch!
For my ongoing bird-a-day project for 2017.
Thank all for the faves and nice comments
tip toes....
they pitter
they patter....
they wander....
making almost no sound..
ninja toes of destruction..
they explore every nook and cranny....
leaving a trail of crumbs and broken toys and scratched dvds instead of footprints
Day 114
I got to work earlier than usual today so I thought of starting my day with a quiet walk at the park. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, no rain in sight, chilly but sunny. When most of us rush every morning to go to work or wherever destination we have to be on a certain time, a few minutes of silence to say our prayer or commune with nature is priceless! I was enveloped with serenity as I strolled around and enjoyed the beauty of nature. I am lucky that my work place is close to a lovely park. I can have a "green moment" anytime I want :-)
So while I was taking a walk, the sun was up magnificently. I was able to consume enough sunshine to brighten and energize my day inside my work place. My morning experience was truly rejuvenating! HGGT:-)

I remember going to Inarajan pool when I was younger. My family and I would go around the island and this would be our stopover to eat brunch. It was nice and I wanted to jump off the dive. They took out the ladder or rope to climb the jump. Darn it. Next time. Maybe I will bring a ladder with me :). My uncle was talking about how my grandpa loved going here and it was his favorite spot. I miss him so. This place is beautiful but it was hot! LOL! The place has changed after how many typhoons!
Back to studying.
Good night! Sweet dreams! :)

This is actually a cheat... I didn't take any photos on day 113 in 2021. First time in almost 2 years that I didn't pick up the camera for one shot. I was busy doing other things. I did do this post processing on day 113, so I will put it here.
Day 114 - 365/2023 - A Never-Ending Journey
------------------------------------------------------------------
In the morning I will be having another knee surgery.
Revising a total replacement from 15 years ago.
Almost to the day, one year ago I had a total hip replacement. Looking forward to better days ahead and better walking experiences in the future. There are so many more photographs to take and being able to walk again without constant pain will be a joy. Hope to be back soon... the phone will be going with me into the hospital, so my 365 project can continue without a hitch.
I'll be back.
We were up bright and early on the camp site this morning so I took the opportunity to photograph the morning dew drops that had settled in the field of clover that we were camped in....I really liked this one as it looks like a little crystal ball.
Happy Easter Slider's Sunday everyone !!

Paddington Basin is an area of London at Paddington named after the nearby canal basin.
The junction of the Regent's Canal and the Grand Junction Canal is close to this point but the basin itself is the terminus of the Paddington Arm of the Grand Junction Canal. It was opened in 1801. Paddington was chosen because of its position on the New Road which led to the east, providing for onward transport. In its heyday, the basin was a major trans-shipment facility, and a hive of activity.
A consortium in partnership with British Waterways began work in January 2000 by draining the basin.
The basin is now the centre of a major redevelopment and is surrounded by modern buildings.

Always have to be right there to make sure these two don't get into a tussle over the food. Sometimes it gets rough so it's good Mike has my back.

As promised, here is a water drop collision within a rather psychedelic looking water drip tray!
This took rather a long time to produce as I was running out of hands! I needed one hand to stir the water, one to regulate the droplets falling and another one to trip the shutter! I was lucky I had enough! :)
