One of Data Oasis’s object storage servers (OSSs). Although I'm not sure to which Lustre filesystem this OSS belongs, it is outfitted with either 2 TB or 3 TB Seagate Constellation nearline SAS disks. Each OSS provides four OSSes.

with data recycling I mean, re-using old files other people don't use anymore. as in downloading a movie (someone has already seen), watching it and then sharing it again with the rest of the world wide web
recycling data with one and other is also good for the environment, cause it saves me and everyone else for that matter, a trip to the video store in the car, therefore saving petrol or gas
and what about all the plastic used for the dvd and cd cases, no need for that anymore....
