I never fail to be astounded by what people can make out of Legos. This statue is in no way real, but you expect it to move and come to life at any second.

Probably the only drawing I have done in a long time that made me break out the colored pencils. A buddy of mine wanted the drawing but not in my typical black and white style. I tried to get the likeness of Ray Park who played the character. By the way in my opinion Darth Maul was the only cool character out of the last 3 Star Wars films. Anyway, I hope I did Star Wars fans proud.

By Nick Eusebio, age 6. When picking the image he wanted to paint, he diligently poured through the large art books I dumped in front of him. After flipping though several pages and looking a bit bored, he politely asked for better books. So a Star Wars art book came off the shelf. He scutinized over which character he should paint, waffling between a portrait of Jar Jar, his favorite character, and this close up shot of Darth Maul in full make-up. I have to hand it to him, the kid has a good eye.

This is the bottom of my Star Wars tattoo. Darth Maul's Lightsaber.

It goes from my hip to my knee.

I long to capture the escence of things, pure colour and form and feeling by painting with light. Please, judge this photograph by its composition, colours, the feelings it stirs in you… and not as “what is it?”, as if photography mattered only as much as the subjet it captures on file or film.

My paradigms? Only available light, no retouching either in the blackroom or in the computer, and there has to be a point in focus at least.

"Fear is my ally"

Was heading to NYC today and had every intention of going out to take a picture but our plane was grounded in Toronto for over an hour because LGA couldn't handle the incoming volume of air traffic. Long story short our layover was cut short and I decided to stay in to watch the Blue Jays lose to the Indians instead.

One of these things is not like the others...

At the end of the first movie in the Star Wars Saga timeline the iconic Lightsaber Duel between Darth Maul, Obi-Wan-Kenobi and Qui-Gon-Jinn takes place. This is the opening scene when the duel takes place. Unfortunately, my second favorite Qui-Gon is killed by Maul my favorite Sith (oh the irony...) Who is then killed by Obi-Wan and you know the rest...

I made this when I was 7-8...

Found it in 2015 and took this photo
