I'm not sure if their mood resulted from lack of coffee, hangovers, jet-lag, being up at 7:30am on a hot Saturday morning, or having to wait too long--possibly a combination of all of the above. This picture is almost entirely un-posed, as all I did was tell them to sit still and hold it. There's nothing like turning around and seeing a bunch of dejected Sith Lords waiting for a parade to start. I wish I'd been toting my Holga.

I opted to not cheese it out by editing lightsabers in, due to their unfortunate positioning. These guys might be depressed, but they're certainly not suicidal. ;-)

The Darksaber is a unique and ancient lightsaber built by the first Mandalorian to become a Jedi. The blade has a few interesting properties: It has a black core as opposed to a white one, it's more sword shaped, it crackles with light, and it's a bit shorter than a regular lightsaber blade.

The Darksaber first appeared in the TV show Star Wars The Clone Wars, and has been an important part of the more recent episodes of Star Wars Rebels. Despite the fact that it's the same weapon in both shows, the Rebels version (which my MOC is based on) is quite a bit more detailed than the Clone Wars version.

The MOC is strong enough that I can hold it at any angle without any issue, and I can swing it around moderately without it breaking.

My only conclusion... is that it was a Sith lord.

I played around a bit in Photoshop and came up with a more cinematic shot of the scene. I hope you like it.

Darth Maul *dares* those puny terminators to do their very best.

Day 332. Our household is starting to get excited about the impending new Star Wars film. My son had a box of his figures out to play with.

Kylo Ren vs. Darth Maul battle of the old and new sith's

A scene at Dunchurch, Warwickhire. The statue is of Lord John Montagu Scott, For many years, it has become a tradition near Christmas, or at other special events, to transform the statue into a differnt character by means of dress and other artistic measures!

Past transformations include

Father Christmas, Harry Potter, Darth Maul from Star Wars, Bart Simpson, Homer Simpson, a Stormtrooper from Star Wars, Spiderman, A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Mr Blobby, Shrek , Johhny Wilkiinson.............. Woody from Toy Story, Pikachu, a Smurf, A minion........ Can anyone remember any others?

A long time ago in a toy box far, far away....

Darth Maul, the very definition of Sith viciousness, control and balanced perfection. This shot however was taken before he was bodily devalued.

I'm so disappointed by this year's May the 4th LEGO deals that I decided to play chess with my Star Wars minifigs instead of buying anything. LEGO sets, and in particular Star Wars sets, have become so expensive in Belgium that it's not worth buying anything. LEGO S@H prices with the 10% reduction are still over the French or German regular prices and the free minifigure is very disappointing. Also local stores are only doing a 15% reduction which doesn't really beats the S@H 10% + VIP points.

Just some photos of the ships now that I’ve built one, and sprayed the Nubian silver! It’s a simple vinyl dye, the kind of paint you use on fake leather car upholstery, but it soaks into the Lego and gives a durable finish. I wish I’d remembered to spray the N1 Starfighter before I ran out of paint, maybe next time. Instructions for the Nubian, Infiltrator and N1 are on Rebrickable... rebrickable.com/users/ron_mcphatty/mocs/

Fueled by vengeance and rage, the newly reunited brothers Savage Opress and Maul spread terror and violence across the galaxy. As the Sith brothers forcibly recruit Hondo Ohnaka and his pirates, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Adi Gallia chase them down, leading to a deadly confrontation.

In their quest for revenge, Darth Maul and his brother, Savage Opress, board a Republic Space Station and eliminate the droid guards there. They loot the station and then set off to Florrum to recruit an army.

A thing of beauty.

Here’s the build without the microscale buildings.

Hello, These are some random Star Wars minifigs. They all have parts of the spiderman minifigure in 2021. That was a fun challenge because the parts fitted very well for each character. From left to right: - Lux Bonteri (head) - Jet Trooper (legs) - Darth Maul (arms) - Mother Talzin (torso and cape) - Sith dude (head) If you like them please leave a fave or write in the comments below. Bye!

Thank you very much for Explore!

This is a scene from the comic series Star Wars: Darth Maul. Maul faces-off against a Jedi padawan some time before Episode I.

“Fear. Fear attracts the fearful. The strong. The weak. The innocent. The corrupt. Fear. Fear is my ally.”

I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of my little friend Darth Maul here.

Lighting on this was three lights, to camera right a red gelled softbox, to camera left a blue gelled softbox, and finally above and behind the shot a white snooted speedlite.

Play One Twelve Black Warrior figure (Darth Maul), captured with a 2x anamorphic lens combined with a 100mm macro lens.
