I found these in a project that I started in 2000. It is a nice leather wrap journal with nice watercolor paper! My thought was to do a nice little watercolor on every other page and when that was finished I could go back and use it as a journal. I think I got through about a dozen pages. The pages are handmade and you can see a bit of them in this shot.

I think she looks quite classy, actually.

inspired by ( some would say copied from ) this genial idea by Kaptain Kobold.

DDS: So, what magazine are you from?

Reporter: Brow Pow, the coolest magazine in town. We do all kinds of stuff, fashion mostly and intervjus with famous people like yourself.

DDS: Hmm, I don't have time to read much and fashion is not my thing. But Brow Pow does ring a bell.

Reporter: That is just awesome! So can we…

DDS: You were the reporter who made fun of Mrs. Winterbottom.

Reporter: ….eh, no I wouldn't say…

DDS: And then used her photo in your lousy magazine without her permission.

Reporter: Well she did let us take…

DDS: AND had an entire issue dominated by the silliest womanizer in the galaxy. Speedo Steel. Unless you give Huntress at least forty pages in your coolest magazine, I won't give you nothing.

The man without fear

This is just a fun little art project for me, but if you're interested in making the figure, I'm happy to share the original artwork. I just ask that, if possible, you make me one. (Or a few, if you're capable of pad/digitally printing some.)

another wacom sketch for fun. always envisioned daredevil in high contrast. this wasn't david mack inspired (i do like him too!) who's cover work reminds me of my teacher, barron storey. i get my inspiration from barron (who's done work for vertigo), bill sienkiewicz, dave mckean (ink style) and egon schiele. this style is much more natural to me (unlike the catwoman and batgirl sketches).

scott ladd is working on a short story that i'll eventually illustration. just havin' some fun. =)

I wanted to make a daredevil custom from long time ago. When I finally found the parts that I wanted to use I bought them immeadiately. Sadly I had to wait for their arrival and then, two days before i got them, lego announced an official daredevil minifgure.

But any way im very happy with the result.

Matt Murdock: "So, this is our firm..."

Foggy Nelson: "Yes it is matt! we're gonna be the biggest lawyers out there! Nelson and Murdock!"

Matt Murdock:"Nelson and Murdock, huh? I like the sound of that "

Matt Murdock:" it was nice of your mom to donate this furniture. it probably brings out some color in this crappy place. if I could see it."

Foggy Nelson: "hey speaking of color, what about that nutty Superhero going around beating up thugs? The cops are calling him the Devil, because of some purse snatcher that got beat have to death by this Guy. he said that it was the devil coming to claim his soul."

Matt Murdock:" or maybe it's because he dresses up in red and has horns on his mask."

Foggy Nelson:" yeah whatever Matt, whoever he is, he's a vigilante, but I kind of like he's doing for hells kitchen."

Digital color practice, art by Mike Henderson. Work done on Clip Studio Paint.

Made in 1984 by Mattel.

I finally picked him up. At this point in my collecting life, I only want to get SW figures in good shape. I can tolerate the loss of their Secret Shield and lenticular card inserts. Or weapons.

This DD seems to have most of his face paint intact. Which I had yet to find. DD had the problem of a bad reaction between the plastic and the paint. Turning the paint red or messed up in some way.

And the body paint apps appear to be about perfect.

Which is a paint wear issue for the whole line. As it rubs off easily. I show two angle to try to show his horns. Very small but there.

I was thinking of using a vintage Royal Guards grey staff for his weapon in extended mode. It is vintage :)

My Daredevil costume for NYCC 2016.

This guy has been blowing up the toy sites, first with the surprise that he was being offered at Walgreens, and then that he would look so good.

He is a repaint of the recent release of Daredevil in his modern outfit. Really, the big difference is in the paint. It is amazing how they could repaint the guy, and have him look so different.

He comes with his batons, this time in red, and this time in a much stiffer plastic than the horrid rubber the last Daredevil had to run around with. He also comes with an alternate head, which is totally awesome. I have already seen people popping the head on the Chameleon body. Guess Hasbro did a good job here. People are going out to buy a second or third Chameleon body so they can have Matt Murdock running around the streets. Then all they have to do is fabricate a cane.

Overall a fantastic figure. A great addition to any Marvel Legends collector's shelf.
