Rise up and Salute this Awesome Day...."Dare to Be"
“Dare to Be
When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.
When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light.
When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it.
When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway.
When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back.
When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some.
When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going.
When times are tough, dare to be tougher.
When love hurts you, dare to love again.
When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal.
When another is lost, dare to help them find the way.
When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand.
When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile.
When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.
When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best.
Dare to be the best you can –
At all times, Dare to be!”
― Steve Maraboli,
One of the best writers the world has seen and one of my main motivations in starting graffiti. Dare has been a huge influence on me and my work and he will be sadly missed

Dare to create anything, and start today! Who knows where it will lead you?
I was just thinking of the genius Leonard de Vinci who, for sure, was not afraid to step one step forward to make great discovery!

Intanto, accontentiamoci di dare un'occhiata discreta nei dintorni...
In the meanwhile, we'll have a careful but discreet look at the neighbourhood...
First child born in the Americas to English parents. August 18, 1587.
Elizabethan Gardens, Manteo, NC, USA.
This Carrara marble statue of Virginia Dare is the sculptor’s idealized version of what Virginia Dare would have looked like had she grown to womanhood. An American sculptor, Maria Louise Lander sculpted the piece in Rome in 1859. It has had an incredibly hectic existence, including two years at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean due to a shipwreck off the coast of Spain. From there the statue spent a number of years in the State Hall of History in Raleigh, NC in the early twenties where it was viewed a controversial work of art. After
a short stay with the Pulitzer prize-winning Paul Green at his estate “The Oaks” near Chapel Hill, NC he decided to donate it to The Elizabethan Gardens. The statue of Virginia Dare finally came to rest about one hundred years after its creation by Miss. Lander.

Stunning livery! Maybe this should be the new Stagecoach corporate...! ;-) Off the top of my head this is the best Stagecoach livery I can think of, although I dare say some can think up some other crackers!
