Me: What do you remember from this Christmas, my first?
Mom: That it was very very hectic because you were a little baby. And this was the Christmas that I wrote that column about, the one where Bobby was being bad when I was decorating the tree, and I told him that Santa Claus was looking in the window, and would know if he was being bad or not. So Bobby was three, and he was all "yeah, right." Then he looked out the front window and there WAS a jolly fat Santa Claus outside in the street. I didn't I find out until years later that it was Eddie, our next-door neighbor—he was practicing to be Santa Claus at the children's ward of the hospital.

After my Dad sang with the Dapper Dans, he received his offical "Honorary Member" membership card. Now that is something to flash around to people! :)
There is nothing wrong with knowing the name of Disneyland´s barbershop quartet without having to look it up...
I'd never seen the Dapper Dans dressed in anything other than their "standard" costumes that many of us have seen as they walk up & down Main Street, USA. During Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween party, though, they were dressed as a different type of quartet...
