I thought to portray Danny in a different light with this portrait..
Danny is an awesome person; talented in doing a great amount of things from teaching, sports, music to his general encouragement to others. He is an easy person to like and a great deal of fun..
..and is why I also love this portrait I took of Danny. Everyone has moments where their ‘edge’ shines through, tough times, bad days, or simply stupid people.. I love how Danny deals with all of these things with patience and encouragement.

Danny is a beautiful boy and he always seems so interested in people. He will let me approach and touch him but he is quite shy and keeps his distance. I'm sure that in a home environment he will become more trusting. He is available for adoption at Forgotten Felines & Fidos in Germansville, PA.
Pastel painting. I did a color study of Danny on sanded paper (previous posting). This is my usual style of painting. I think it's finished but may do a little more tweaking as I'm rarely satisfied with my work.
As previously mentioned, Danny is a homeless man I met at a rest stop while traveling. He is living in the woods behind the rest stop with 3 dogs and his significant other. Sadly, he seemed to have mental problems but was very open and allowed me to photograph him.
I did a little tweaking and replaced the photo. Not sure I'm satisfied yet.
Danny Dread, Eric Ffrench without a doubt has one of the most extensive histories in the Reggae sound system arena. His gifted talents saw him pulling double duty on sound systems both in Kingston and St Thomas simultaneously. Danny Dread is described as 'the' man to guide any sound to stardom hence he was sought out by Junjo Lawes to spin on Volcano and later played on King Addies just to name two. His career has seen so many of the industry's giants including artistes, rise and fall.

Today my friend Phil and I decided to hangout and we also ended up with my boyfriend Danny and our friend Dan and we all wanted to take pictures and these were the result!

Went to Scotland briefly for the Downhill World Champs.
Pleasant surprise was Danny was there with his Drop and Roll tour, which makes sense - I just didn't think of it.
Stoked to see Danny, but was a cool moment when a double decker bus pulled up outside the venue when Danny was up on a platform.
Danny is an impressive Grade I listed Elizabethan red brick Mansion near Hurstpierpoint in West Sussex, England. It lies at the northern foot of Wolstonbury Hill and may be regarded as one of the finest stately houses in Sussex, with 56 bedrooms and 28 apartments. The present house was built 1593-95 by George Goring, slightly to the east of an older house. It is set in eight acres (32,000 m²) of gardens at the foot of the South Downs.

Danny is one of the captains of our station boat. I think pilot boat operators are some of the best boat drivers in the world. Danny and the other captains of Houston pilot boats put pilots on and off ships 20,000 times a year in open seas.
First posted photo with a little pocket camera I got so I would take more photos like this. Sometimes digging the big Nikon out of the backpack is a disincentive or an impediment. Having a pocket camera (I hope) will help out. It's also a lot less obtrusive and it can be silent if you turn the artificial shutter noise off.

Inaugural 2011 USA Pro Cycling Challenge Prologue
My lens was unable to keep up with riders coming at me, so I tried my hand at panning with manual focus.
You live, you learn:
1 - Take photos from the drivetrain side. Doh.
2 - Take the time to find a nicer backdrop (this was the best I could find in The Garden of the Gods?)
3 - Get a freaking monopod
