Bergara managed Stockport County from 1989 to 1995 and led The Hatters through their most successful period. He was also the first non-British manager to lead an English team out at Wembley when County reached the final of the Autoglass Trophy in 1992.
As well as this fans' tribute, the main stand at Edgeley Park is named after him and the club permanently flies the Uruguayan flag in his honour.
We had a BLAST yesterday at Freight and Salvage in Berkeley, CA, paying tribute to the Legendary Charles Brown. It was so wonderful to perform some of Charles Brown's biggest hits with this stellar cast of musicians: Danny Caron, Ruth Davies, Deszon Claiborne, Eamon Flynn, and vocalists Nicolas Bearde, Maria Muldaur, and Marina Crouse.
I also took a few photos 😁 I didn't get a chance to capture everyone, but here are a few from soundcheck and a photo of the band on stage with Marina ...minus me, of course.
This is Danny, the drummer from the band Spector who I filmed at the Blissfields festival a couple of weekends ago.
There's a load more shots from the festival on my blog.

Renowned restaurateur Danny Meyer portrait, photographed with a Hasselblad medium format film camera.
Danny is still less than a year old in this 2016 photo, but has had a big growth spurt. Must be dependable food since becoming a housecat.

The Centenary Bridge was built in 1994, named because the Manchester Ship Canal had opened 100 years before.
The 'Daniel Adamson' doesn't quite date back that far, but was built in 1903. The Danny's 120th birthday outing to Manchester went well and here the veteran steam tug/tender passes under the lift bridge on the way to Mode Wheel Locks.
Stayed an extra day for a unity march on Sunday, a tough walk for him. One thing I'll remember is Kwame taking it as his honored duty to stay with him every step of the way, like a grandson with a grandfather. Sure, it's Danny Glover, but it wasn't that.
Danny Jones of McFly performing live at Leicester de Montfort Hall on their Up Close and Personal Tour, 9th May 2009.
Veteran steam tug 'Daniel Adamson' passes Trafford Park, the first 'industrial estate' which was just taking off in 1903 when this tug was built. They have both experienced 120 years of ups and downs; Trafford Park is still one of the largest industrial estates in the UK and the Danny still steams on the Manchester Ship Canal.
Aberystwyth shedmaster Danny Rowlands was known for bulling up his allocation of Manors with a touch of the white paint. Today over 50 years later 7812 continues to exhibit the style as she leaves Bewdley with the 2.25 ex Kidderminster to Bridgnorth service
Danny and I met up monday night to do some lighting experiments in his basement studio. He has a Broncolor lighting system (3 lamps) and the light is heavenly. I don't really feel comfortable in a studio, but in this case it was fun trying out different things.
Here I wanted to go for the classic crime noir frank miller look and I am happy with the result!
