Daily Routine #2
Going with something simple today, and nothing signifies my daily routine more than coffee.
While there may be other softwares around that do this work, I
really enjoy usiing Blue Crab for both documents AND images.
I am currently looking at mall design as a repository of 1950s-70s design, and Blue Crab is handy for grabbing ALL of the images on a site at once. I did this for the Lakehurst Mall sites and a Chernobyl site. Now I can amass these images as quickly as possible, and archive them easily. Blue Crab puts them all into one folder for you.

One of the things I am so grateful for these days is having my mornings to myself. I don't sleep in like some might, I get up early when the sun starts streaming in past the blinds and the curtains. Winter is fast approaching but that old radiator keeps my room so hot that all I need these days is a sheet. In the morning I like to toss and turn a few rounds before getting up. It's not the most comfortable bed. I don't have my dream job. But I have my mornings.
A woman with curly hair stands in her bright kitchen, savoring the rich aroma of a freshly brewed coffee. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, ideal for starting the day.
It's hard to shot nice things everyday, so here's a little bit of my wall with polaroid "black square on white background" reproduction ;)
This is not a great shot though I found the subject very interesting. Each day Hemingway stood on the bathroom scales and made a note of his weight on the wall above the tiles. It makes a fascinating account of the man's focus on his health and condition which is interesting given his known love of the liquor!
For more than two decades, famed author Ernest Hemingway occupied Finca Vigia, a hilltop villa 20 kilometers east of Havana. Built in 1886 by the Catalan architect Miguel Pascual y Baguer, the house was acquired in 1939 by Hemingway, who lived there until 1960.
