"God Himself, the Unique VIII" (Part Four) | Introduction
Almighty God says, "God’s supply of all things is sufficient to show that God is the source of life for all things, because He is the source of supply that has enabled all things to exist, live, reproduce, and continue on. Apart from God there is no other. He supplies all needs of all things and all needs of mankind, regardless of whether it is the most basic needs, what people need daily, or the supply of the truth to people’s spirits. From all perspectives, when it comes to God’s identity and His status for mankind, only God Himself is the source of life for all things. This is absolutely certain."
Have a guess from where do these egrets get their daily bread?

FlickrFriday: Daily Bread - Paris is known for its bread.
I staked out on a scorching hot Bellagio parking deck in order to get this shot. Worth it. Taken right after sunset when there was still a dark blue in the sky.

German full-grain loaf of bread, hand made and fresh from the bakery. It tastes so delicious, that there is no need to combine it with anything. The crust of this one was made to be extra crispy, while the inner part is still nicely soft. :) The white spots on the crust are flour remains from the baking process.
Spent the afternoon at the Westfort Street Fair and could not resist taking this shot. I only had my phone on me but I still quite like it.
Our Daily Bread, great theme, So symbolic of so much that is imbedded in our Daily Bread, so here is to Bread and honey, what better….
At his table in his small home in Tomper, Pastor Charles Calvin prayerfully continues his Bible study.
"Our Lord Himself, in teaching us how to pray, says, "Give us this day our daily bread." * Daily. We need the Lord Jesus each and every day. He is our source of sustenance both physical and spiritual. In fact, when tempted by the enemy,"
"But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”"**
"We cannot live, not true life, not full spiritual life, on physical bread alone. As followers of Christ, born again to spiritual life, that new life must be nourished as well. By the perfect, infallible word of God.
"Our Lord says we shall LIVE by that holy word. Not simply hear it, not simply understanding, but live by it. It will inform, define, and guide our daily life. Surely then, we will hunger for the spiritual bread even more than the physical. Don't we read in Peter's first epistle,"
"like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation"***
"Yes, thank you Lord, your word is daily bread indeed!"
"How sweet are Your words to my taste!
Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!" ****

Pastor Calvin can be seen throughout Paprihaven preaching that life-giving word:
Since "everyone's doing it", I thought I'd try getting back to something I used to do weekly. Some old Flickr friends may remember. I'm in an apartment now and lack the full sized oven I used to have. Nor do I have preferred ingredients on hand--the "right" flour etc. But I did have yeast and one small bag each of white and brown flour. This loaf was the result of my winging it with one of my old recipes. Actually, it's pretty tasty. Now I'm motivated to do it more regularly, once I can get to the ingredients I prefer without too much trouble. Just now, I'm only buying what I need to eat short term. I hope you all are managing to get food, wherever you live.

In the world of sourdough bread, there is a general hubbub about the "ear." My wife's latest loaf had a big ear!
