On a whim I poked two eyes, a nose and a smile into today's loaf before I baked it!

Brown bread is popular in New England. The molasses makes a sweet tasty bread that is steamed rather than baked. It was a staple in our family when I was growing up - baked beans, brown bread, and hot dogs, every Saturday supper.
Baked it on Friday in the Bread Maker - just a plain white loaf. I often bake loaves with seeds and nuts, however this was quite plain and is delicious (of course). 😀

Bread of flour is good; but there is bread, sweet as honey, if we would eat it, in a good book.

"Pour donner le nom « tradition » au pain, ce dernier doit être fabriqué sur place et bien évidemment sans congélation ! Concernant sa farine, elle est aussi différente. Elle ne doit contenir aucun additif, car pour ce pain, ils sont totalement interdits. Il faut simplement qu’il contienne de la farine de blé, de l’eau, du sel et de la levure ou du levain."
"To give the name "tradition" to bread, it must be made on site and of course without freezing! Regarding its flour, it is also different. It must not contain any additives, because for this bread, they are totally prohibited. It just needs to contain wheat flour, water, salt, and yeast or sourdough."

Thankful to the farmers who grow the grains which enable us to create and enjoy our delicious, daily bread.
Sitting across the street in a pavement café. When up draws this Guinness delivery lorry with its daily supply for the pub opposite. So, with no where for it to park? well then, the guy just stops and parks in the middle of the street to off load. Result. Traffic chaos in the small town. But hey ho!! who gives a damn!! it's the South-West and, manyana.
Homeless man camped out at Queen and Bay Streets, Toronto.
I don't generally photograph the homeless, but this gentleman was extremely chatty when approached, and when asked, quite willing to allow me to photograph him. Many shots were of him smiling, but homelessness is a serious situation, so I asked for some serious looks. Here's the best of the dozen I took.
I keep some Tim Hortons coffee shop gift cards in my wallet to give away for just this type of occasion.

The words of God in the Last Days | "God Himself, the Unique VIII" (Part Four)
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/god-himself-the-unique-vi...
Introduction
Almighty God says, "God’s supply of all things is sufficient to show that God is the source of life for all things, because He is the source of supply that has enabled all things to exist, live, reproduce, and continue on. Apart from God there is no other. He supplies all needs of all things and all needs of mankind, regardless of whether it is the most basic needs, what people need daily, or the supply of the truth to people’s spirits. From all perspectives, when it comes to God’s identity and His status for mankind, only God Himself is the source of life for all things. This is absolutely certain."

ok, he was telling a story earlier that day of a drunken night when he was sitting next to a desk lamp and it fell over and hit him in the head. in a lethargic attempt to remove the annoyance from his personal space he pushed the lamp out of the way but his motor skills prevented a successful obliteration of the nuisance and so it continued to fall upon his head as he became angrier and angrier with the lamp until it appeared to those around him as if he was fighting with it, much to their amusement. we were at a party and i needed a portrait of colin for his upcoming part in the magazine i work for and so i came up with the idea of recreating the fight in a much more dramatic and staged atmosphere. i spent nearly three hours building the boxing ring with fold out chairs, christmas lights, and red ribbon in the garage of the house where the party was at. as i constantly repeated digi tests to get the spotlight effect just the way i wanted it, the party inside the house brought everyone into the perfect state of mind to where they would be good extras outside the ring. we found a costume and rattled as many frames as i could before i lost the enthusiasm of everyone involved who wanted to get back to the party.
