Snow falling on an early December night. This reminds me of two photos I've taken -- one from way back in 2009, and one from a few years back in 2015. It feels like a falling into place.

One of the four endemic mockingbird species found on the Galápagos Islands, Hood Mockingbird is restricted to Española (Hood) and nearby Gardner-by-Española.
I love how these pretty lily petals look like they're dusted in delicoous cinnamon. Happy Saturday my friends =)
The DPU on this loaded Hibtac train has a nice coating of snow after its round-trip to Hibbing and back.
High winds, thunder roaring, pelting rain, mini dust storm, temperature dropped 35 degrees. It was a wild evening.

It's that time of year in metro Atlanta when everything turns yellow. Much pollen from such trees as elm and beech is not visible, but pollen from the omnipresent loblolly pines certainly is. I took this shot last Monday, when the season began with this light dusting.

Video shot in Second Life - nothing special, nothing planned, was checking out a look and some poses Ill do here also with a different viewer, figured Id do a small vid clip to show the motion, stills here are good but the leaves and rain splashes add so much more.

Bow Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta
The peaks of Crowfoot Mountain are dusted with autumn snowfall. Viewed from the southern end of Bow Lake.
The Sheep Creek Hills have a dusting of snow this winter. Last winter this area was buried under a huge snow pack. Snow has already melted off the south-facing hills creating a zig-zag contour.
Popped along to Bradgate park on my way to work to see if there was any of the white stuff still around, thankfully there was still a dusting of snow on the top half of the park close to Old John's tower. I decided I had enough time to wait around for a bit of dawn colour even if it was bitterly cold and was eventually rewarded with a pretty nice sky.
