Post surgery there is a regimented list of medications to be taken over the next few weeks and I have a list to follow. Here is an overhead view of the extra drugs I need to take.

It was a tough day for me, since the PT (physical therapy) has increased and any residual relief from the pain blockers during surgery have dissipated. Not a big fan of narcotics, but appreciating the help they are providing me in the pain department -- side effects not fun, but under control.
Working through the pain with the promise of gaining the best for myself and my mobility in the future. I have had two total knee replacements before. Everyone told me that "they say" the hip is easier. Sorry, folks, I categorize that as 'misinformation'. There are far more restrictions and more cautions.
Former Payless Drug Store located at 1905 Monument Blvd. in Concord,CA. The building was built as Payless in the early 1990's but it isnt good enough for Rite Aid which has plans to constuct a new freestanding store on the corner of Monument Blvd. and Oak Grove Rd. The new store will be located on a site once occupied by a Shell Gas Station which is part of the well known "Four Corners". This building which Rite Aid is planning to vacate will likely be occupied soon after as it is quite a good location with a Food Maxx operating just a few feet away. I belive that Rite Aid has things quite good for them especially with the Food Maxx (which was originally a Lucky and closed as Albertsons in 2006).

There aren't many "We Give S&H Green Stamps" signs left, but I'm old enough to remember pasting the stamps in booklets and taking them to a store to redeem them for cheap furniture and other merchandise. This door was the entrance to the Pendrey Drug Store in Paris, Idaho. It was built in the 1890's and is probably the oldest surviving commercial building in Paris. It was scheduled to be torn down last year because it is a safety hazard, but historians are trying to save it. I couldn't find a lot of information about it but discovered that the bricks were manufactured in Paris, it has a tin ceiling inside, and doctors and lawyers had offices upstairs. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
A section underneath a bridge along the Regents Canal in London is bathed in blue light to deter intravenous drug users. The contrast with the warmer light near the water and the graffiti caught my attention.
