After Rietveldjes and teunenel I've started dripping as well. This looks like a thick substance, but it is water mixed with a little red acrylic paint.
como e encontrado un par de mis fotos en otras paguinas decidi empezar a cortarlas
si hay alguien que le interese la foto sin cortes mande un mensaje
I am amazed at how dark the water makes the trunk look.
This is for Melissa.... who inspires me to go out photographing in the rain!
It's kinda funny, of all the water drop photos I have done over the years, I had never done the classic drip coming out of a faucet.
Well guess I can check that one off my list.
Happy Hump Day :-)
After it rained the other day, Carlos spent a lot of time standing here trying to catch water that was dripping from the roof. (Also, we probably need to pressure wash the house in this spot)
Much different than my first attempts last year. After some tinkering with some studio lamp stands, I made a drip stand which is a lot tidier than the old contraption I threw together in the first place. This one offers more accuracy in the drop zone, leaving room to play with a drip controller.
In the mean time, I have to do this manually. These are my first attempts at this with my new setup and seem to be doing better than last time out.

Do you remember that rainy week in July I will ask you some day if I love you enough for somedays. I will ask you if you remember that day I got caught on the way home, that day I walked in the door soaked -- Soaked to the bone, you said -- and I stripped down to my slip and stood dripping on the carpet -- You're a mess, you said, I'm a mess, I agreed -- and I wanted to be beautiful then, I wanted you to touch me, I took off the slip and stared at you, and you stared back, stared at the dripping black satin in my hand. And I was cold and you gave me a towel and I took it. I took the towel, I hung the slip over the shower curtain rod to dry, I was cold, I made a cup of tea.
We got rain today!!!!! It was wonderful!!! It rained hard and for a while!! We could hear all the trees and plants sighing and saying "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

While there was plenty of beauty at the Chicago Botanical Garden's Orchid exhibit, this bamboo water spout caught my eye. Enjoy!

This is the sink in my apartment. I made the sketch & carved the block on July 4th 2007.
Must thank my daughter for being such a sloppy painter. I got completely carried away with this paint tin after I found all these huge dry drips.
