ok so here goes nothing
1. I'm finally a sophomore!
2. I tend to talk REALLY REALLY fast [especially while giving speeches]
3. This photo was SOOC :D
4. I watch polish TV channels more than english ones, even though I live in the US
5. I collect stamps xD
6. I know how to play about 5 songs on the guitar! *I WILL keep learning!- puts on determined face-
7. despite my somewhat bigger body type, I have tiny feet- I only wear a size 6 (I can still fit in kid shoes x])
8. I like to sing. a lot. I'm thinking about trying out for my school's musical ^-^.
9. I'm getting my license in september (at least I hope I will >.<)
and 10. I'm planning on going to warped tour this year! again... like last year :D

The slow drip keeps the wood wet until it rots, then the rotten wet wood is a good place for moss to grow. Then a deep freeze puts everything on hold.
My yard fairy. :-) Those frozen sparkly drips are all over the place! Love how it looks. As long as I don't have to go out in it. ;-)
Rain, rain go away!! Anyway, it gave me the chance, between showers, to grab a shot of one of our light bulb solar garden lights with a drip, drop!!

Drip
My first time trying to get a reflection in a drip, I originally wanted to get a flower in the drip but just couldn't set it up, I then decided to use some of the background papers I have used for other projects, great fun when it finally worked.
A blade from a plant was held in place with two little clamps and I used a speedlight at about 45deg to the front. My son made the drips with a pipette (he had was steadier and had more patience than me :) ) I suspect something else is usually added to plain water I made need to do some research.
I got my car washed yesterday, and they talked me into a longer, more expensive service. Since the place is pretty close to my house, I decided to walk home while they were cleaning, and on the way saw a beautiful vintage (red) Dodge truck. I grabbed my camera at home, and as I was getting back to the parking lot where I saw the truck, it was leaving.
:(
So, I snapped a few of this green wall, and called it a day.

A Common Loon that's just resurfaced from a several minute snack-dive deep into Barton Pond during a light rain shower.
Our current cold, dark and wet early Spring weather may be welcomed by a duck, but for me... not so much.

I've committed to a monthly 12/12 photography challenge this year, I started a 365 daily one last year and only made it half way through, there was no theme and it became a bit of a chore tbh.
This new one is themed and January's challenge is 'Water Droplets'. Never done anything like this before so a bit of a learning curve, but of course that's the nature of the challenge, to push myself out of my comfort zone.
I don't have a macro lens, so I had to use the Canon 135mm. Slightly restricted by the mfd, as I wanted to get in close without cropping, but I can only work with what I've got. So, it is what it is. I'm pleased I gave it a go and glad I didn't fail at the 1st hurdle, by not even attempting it.
Wex Week 3
This weeks Macro Monday challenge is water droplets. This gave just the opportunity I required to set up my Hi-Viz water drop kit that I made some time ago. Usually used to capture water droplets in a container I decided to take a slightly different approach. Initially with the flashgun at full power motion blur was evident because the flash pulse was to long, using a 1/32 of normal power to shorten the flash and increasing the ISO to compensate produced some pleasing results.

It is hunting season here and I don't take to the woods, so I had to grab a shot from November of last year.
