Vintage cocktail dress. Delicate satin over a built-in black net underskirt and petticoat. Fully lined with soft red satin, feels great to wear. Only been worn a few times, in excellent condition. Off-the-shoulder 1950s style. Nice satin rose details. Soft velvet bodice (not boned) has a nice subtle curve to it. Looks best with small boobs or no boobs. Extremely high quality professional design. They don't make these any more, almost impossible to find one this good if you want it!

Dress made May 7, 2010 with the Schoolhouse Tunic Pattern by Sew Liberated. Worn @ the Portland Farmers' Market on May 9th.
Up close, the fabric (purchased @ Bolt on Portland) looks very similar to that of the classic train engineer cap. Hence, the name.
This dress couldn't be easier to sew and is lots of fun to wear!
