* A featherfoot is a sorcerer in Australian Aboriginal spirituality. A featherfoot is usually a bad spirit who kills people. In most traditional Aboriginal beliefs, there is no such thing as a natural death. Every death is caused by evil spirits or spells.

There is an underground narrative in the West. With each year of the progress of continued capitalist domination, enshrined in state, law and public discourse, a much less noticed shadow story trailed in its tracks. This is the storyline connecting us to our Dreamtime. This is where our spirits live, where we can sing and dance.
JPEG done with the Samyang mirror-reflex lens fixed at F6.3.
The Dreamtime, or the Dreaming, that was in the beginning. As Aboriginals imagine it, the earth in the beginning was a featureless waste, but beings called the Altjeringa Metjina, the Eternal Ones of the Dream emerged, and they went walkabout and dreamed the world, trees ,rivers, moutains, a vast variety of things.
And so it was as the earth as we now know it came to be.
Listen to Amanda:
"
The Floating Islands are celebrating spring and summer, autumn and Halloween and winter and Christmas then the highest one is a statue garden.
Listen to your soul for it knows much.

Dreams in brass, Africa and India, when I was young, filling my mind with new things, crossing borders, thinking borders away, being on a journey I thought would never end. My feet are nailed to the ground now. But dreamtime is not over.

️ Arthur’s Pass in Dreamspace?
Arthur’s Pass — with its dramatic alpine vistas and moody weather — could be a perfect muse for AI-generated art or immersive storytelling. Imagine:
- Using Dreamspace.art to prompt a Van Gogh-style rendering of the Pass at dusk.
- Feeding imagery and text into a generative model to create a narrative journey through the mountains, blending ecological insight with surreal dream logic.
- Building a multimedia blog post where Arthur’s Pass becomes a metaphor for crossing into new creative terrain — something I have already hinted at in my previous straight photographic work.

The lone rider was a delight to watch as she cantered along the sands. I really liked the layers of blue tones . The gulls, standing in different rows , added even more interest. It seemed fitting that at the sky seemed to fade into nothingness, It was like a dream
A perfectly clear and calm starlit night at Bridport, northeast Tasmania.
I light painted the tree with the light from my iPhone.
In the darkness of winter, when the flowers have gone to their beds, what can we do but dream of their lovely colors. Those dreams will have to get us through to the Spring.

This shot is the first I've taken with a specific style in mind to process it and I do like the result.
This dreamy image was taken during our campervan adventure in South Island , New Zealand. A holiday of a life time. So many beautiful scenes to capture.
The Dreaming is used to represent Aboriginal concepts of Everywhen, during which the land was inhabited by ancestral figures, often of heroic proportions or with supernatural abilities. These figures were often distinct from gods, as they did not control the material world and were not worshipped but only revered. The concept of the Dreamtime has subsequently become widely adopted beyond its original Australian context and is now part of global popular culture.
Dreamtime... the perfect start to the day, sunrising over the sea and a seagull flying by. Nature's end of year gift.

The snow is finally melting and the temps are climbing - it appears that we are back to endless rain - Yay! Meanwhile, my cat, Meowzer, who is not a fan of winter weather, dreams of spring. Shh! don't wake him.
"It is always safe to dream of spring. For it is sure to come; if it be not just as we have pictured it, it will be infinitely sweeter."
