"Doc," one of two airworthy B-29s in existence, makes its final approach for landing at Cleveland's Burke Lakefront Airport.
These are my favorite shoes.
One day I went digging around in the basement for photoshoot props and sitting in a basket are these shoes. I freaked out and ran upstairs to ask my mom why she never showed me these, since they are exactly my size, and she said that 12-year-old me was too self-conscious back in the day to wear them, so she had put them in a basket and forgotten about them. (stupid 12-year-old me, seriously, what was I thinking.) She's a yardsailing queen and got them at a yard sale for $8, even though according to ebay they are worth 44x that because sienna miller wore this edition for nylon magazine once.
As you can see in some of the comments, I was debating on selling them a while ago, but I am so glad I didn't! I love them too much to part with.

One has to wonder what folks on US-71 in Fayetteville Arkansas think as one of the last two B-29's "Doc" flies over on its final approach..
