The day we went to the DMV was a dreary, foggy mess...but at least it wasn't raining for the most part. Can't say that for much of the rest of the weekend....but then we needed it, so I'm not complaining. 🤔
The unfortunate part of the thing is that we had to go to a license agency over an hour away in Morganton...because that was the closest place we could get an appointment on such short notice. Oh well, maybe that'll teach me to pay closer attention in the future. 😘

Op 10 mei 1986 organiseerde de DMV een extra rit met de loc's 38 1182 en 52 6666 van de DR, vanuit Oranienburg via Fürstenberg en Lychen naar Templin en van daaruit weer rechtstreeks terug naar Oranienberg. In Bergsdorf is een fotostop, op de terugrit van Templin naar Oranienburg, waarbij de loc's 38 1182 en 52 6666 naast elkaar worden opgesteld, 10 mei 1986.
Am 10. Mai organisierte die DMV eine Sonderfahrt mit den Lokomotiven 38 1182 und 52 6666 der DR, ab Oranienburg über Fürstenberg und Lychen nach Templin und ab da wieder nach Oranienburg über dem direkten Weg. In Bergsdorf ist auf der Rückreise von Templin nach Oranienburg einen Fotohalt, wobei die Lokomotiven 38 1182 und 52 6666 neben einander aufgestellt werden, 10. Mai 1986.
