We're about 50 miles north of Bismarck now. This spur services the Great River Energy Power Coal Creek Station and the Blue Flint Ethanol facility. These hoppers have delivered corn to the ethanol plant and are now returning to the numerous elevators southeast of Bismarck for reloading. This time of the year the railroad operates as a virtual conveyor belt. We plan to chase this train back to Bismarck and are delighted with the SD60F leader in full DMV&W paint.
Duaine’s automotive repair is now under investigation by the Nevada DMV Compliance Enforcement Division. Two men spoke with Channel 8 News when they have not received their cars back in a year. Once officers showed up with search warrants, they were able to return a total of five cars to their rightful owners.
When one of the men attempted to start his car, it began smoking stating that their cars haven’t been fixed or even touched in the year that they dropped it off at Duaine’s. The investigation is still on going.
