I covered the box in paper, painted the accents and then decoupaged the entire thing with modgepodge. Also painted and glued the letters on top.

But there I am!

My bedroom is so BLAH. After having the gold and red bedroom before, having white is kind of killing me. SO... I found a HUGE frame (about 3 feet across) at a yard sale for 5 bucks, bought fabric that looked good with my duvet cover and painted a branch and fat little birdie.

Picture over the couch is something I made with two full watercolor paintings I did cut into squares and decoupaged onto a black board. I loves it lots.

yeah... we tried. i think i'm going to order a vintage weave-it on ebay (cause the weavettes are always sold out and apparently i'm not crafty enough to make one myself. it works, but its wonky. plus i want a larger one. but it does work- i'm that crafty. just not crafty enough!
