Jamie and I decided to host Easter this year, so I wanted to make some centerpieces. I'm proud of them. :)
I feel like I have been spending almost all my free time working on wedding crafts, but I've been trying not to post too many pictures before the wedding. Here are a few semi completed projects.
Chalkboards I made from a thrift store mirror and picture frame. I painted the frames and spray painted the glass with green chalkboard paint. I think they will be drink and or food menus.
Invitations to the flowergirl tea. Staples actually did a really good job printing these out... thanks to Kara, the fabulous Copy Girl.

Pinning the double-sided fusible interfacing to the fabric so I was able to easily cut it to the correct size.
Easy to crochet button flowers for any beginners ! It’s a nice idea to use out those left over buttons.-->

Christmas tree yard decoration made from an inverted fan trellis, a 100-bulb string of lights, zip ties, and a plant stake. Testing in my living room before delivery.

I make my own cards, it's a fun hobby. Even though this one could be seen as depressing, I kind of think it is cute gothic.

I had an old dresser that's been kicking around (usually hidden with stuff I simply don't care about in it) for about 15 years. I decided to give it a face lift with a coat of black paint, some swirlies made with a couple of silver paint pens, and some new drawer pulls.
One of the workshops at the DIY crafts days, a project organised by the community around Mareschstr. 10 and the Tauschladen in Fall 2012
