I made this camera for the Pinhole Day 2015. It's a free zoom/tilt/shift 8x10 camera for pinhole and lens photography. The name "Meoda" is made with the same materials as the camera: medis, metalas, medžiaga, oda (in Lithuanian, in English it would be "wood, metal, tissue and leather"). The standards are made of the finest European pine from Hornbach hardware store. The bellows - glued artificial leather and tissue. The flexible "ears" that connect the standards are four black flexible microphone stands. They make some 4/5-ths of the weight of the camera, which is good for stability, but their main function (together with bellows) is to provide a complete liberty of placing and directing the pinhole in front of the film. Meoda takes standard Sinar lens boards. I made for it a set of interchangeable magnetic pinholes of various sizes for different bellows extensions. I also use these pinholes in my other, smaller pinhole camera "Arkliukas".

Got some old expired ortho film, made a test to find out on which side is the emulsion (no notches on ortho film). Tried at ISO 6, but it looks more like ISO 10-12.
I took this photo of a plastic skull with my experimental scanner camera in March of 2020, a week or so before the lockdowns began. Afterwards, it seemed too morbid to post. Now a year on, I find the image a fitting reminder of dark days full of uncertainty and fear. God was good to me in 2020, but there were times when I was extremely ill or when my imagination ran wild about what could happen to the world, that still feel like a cold spike in my chest. There were a few weeks there where the world felt like it was falling to pieces and my small apartment felt like a combination of a warm stronghold, a dark prison and a place where I might even die alone in my bed. Memento mori.

Our Top Nine favorite posts on Instagram this year! According to popular opinion, 2021 was the year of RhinoCam, TLT ROKR adapters and our DIY projects. I noted this as "super fail" as my shutter stuck during the first of two
exposures which made this picture - but now I think its beautiful! :-)
This is the first pinhole camera i ever made.
The chalenge was to do it with a black cardbord and no glue, no tape, all in origami!
Mon premier apareil photo sténopé réalisé.
L'objectif était de réaliser un apareil sténopé panoramique fonctionel, sans colle ni scotch, juste avec des pliages, style "Origami" !

First roll from the Fotodiox TLR I got and put together for my Birthday. Way better than I thought, I love the center focus and blurry edges. Fun camera just need to figure out the winding the film counter is as complained about useless

Somehow I deleted earlier post of this pic by accident, when trying to edit typos from the description using mobilephone. No idea how that can happen, but it did.Truly sorry for the inconvinience.

Woman looking forward and to her right, captured with my Travelwide 4x5, a Schneider Angulon 90mm ƒ/6.8 lens and my 4x5 scanner digital back. Because the scanner digital back scans the camera lens's image slowly from right to left, the model was able to move her head half-way through the capture to create this surreal shot in-camera with no editing in post. I just completed my 3rd attempt at building an instant medium format camera. This one seems promising. It’s a Kodak Anaston 105mm f4.5 lens from an old Kodak Tourist folder mated to an Instax Wide 300 camera. It accepts complete Instax Wide film magazines with no light leaks (so far). The Kodak lens shutter is controlled by cable release whereas the Instax shutter button just develops the image. I built a custom L bracket to support the shutter grip and rangefinder assembly. I also found an old Kodak Series VI hood and filter kit that fit the Anaston lens. Hopefully, with this setup, I can truly push the limits of Instax film with more creative control.

Using a medium format black & white film and a DIY camera made this photo look almost like it was taken in 1920's, and not 2020's. And I love it.
