First two rolls with the Lomography Konstruktor. Fun camera, just need to play with the film transport, it tends to tear the sprockets and the shots are really far apart or bunch up together.

More adapter for graflok. This time 3.25x4.25

The only thing I like about this otherwise average pinhole/polaroid is that the mirror image of the buildings and trees in the water wasn't available to the naked eye. There was enough ripple on the surface of the water that the reflection only really stabilized over the course of this ten-second exposure.

Wonderfully light-tight plastic containers that I found by the recycling station a while back. They are now panoramic pinhole cameras that take 4.5 by 18 cm paper negs.

120 pinhole camera test. Tmax 100 and bad Rodinal. Must try again, the negs were basically blank with a faint tan negative on a a few.

fifteen minute exposure, 4x5 polaroid pinhole at night. using this camera.

Although a lot (probably most) of the very early sliding box camera's had one fixed front as lens panel, I choose for the more advanced option of an interchangeable panel to have some flexibility when using different lenses.

Here are the 4 pieces of the lens panel put together and sanded. The two pieces of wood at the left and right side will become part of the the main box and will hold the panel against the main box.

12 minute exposure, on expired Ilford XP2.

selfmade pinhole camera from paper box. exposed directly on 24x30cm paper. scanned and changed into positive.

Candy Tin pinhole camera. 35mm.

Taken with my green Dirkon (precision drilled .35mm pinhole) with Lomography 100 film on Worldwide Pinhole Day.

Since I didn't have enough big pieces of wood, I had to use two pieces in the middle glued together. The breadboards with opposite grain direction will be glued against the two middle pieces.

針孔相機第一次 [PinHole First Roll]

After having the main box, sliding box and back panel glued and sanded, everything is put on the base to get an idea about the camera when put together.

Getting better at using my tools. This will be the joint type for my 14x36 inch and 20x24 ULF cameras. Hopefully by this coming weekend I’ll be good enough to cut the parts I need for the cameras rear standard. I keep delaying the project till I get better at doing different diy things I’m sure a cabinet maker could get done in a weekend. Next real test will be me making a rear standard out of reclaimed pallet wood. If I can do that I’ll risk the good stuff.

Here little wooden parts are shown with the design sheet that shows the intersection of the groundglass holder / film holder

World Pinhole Photography Day 2017

Bellows are drying atm so I did some work to the front standard. Mainly rough cut the hole. Need to clean it up and put a lip on the front for a lens board. I haven’t talked about what size the lens board I will use because…. Up till today I didn’t know myself. I did make a design in fusion 360 but that one never got made. So, Drumroll please!!!! 10” x 13” yeah an odd one I know. I was thinking about doing a 10” x 10” but this one won out. Why you ask? Because I didn’t cut it right. So you call it rough cut and move on lol. Let’s hope it won’t bite me in the backside. Front standard is not to my liking but I want to get a finish product before years end. I’m thinking about visiting the 10x10 again in the future around the same time I find a better way for front movements.

The sliding box is not yet completely fitting into the main box - some sanding work will make it fit.....
