First roll from the Fotodiox TLR I got and put together for my Birthday. Way better than I thought, I love the center focus and blurry edges. Fun camera just need to figure out the winding the film counter is as complained about useless

The before and after shots of the PinholeArt 135-Lite camera. Think of it like buying a camera from Ikea. It comes in a little baggy of what seems like 100+ parts. But you get everything you need--even glue and photo illustrated instructions. Steal away about an hour of quiet time to concentrate on construction and you have yourself a fully working 35mm pinhole camera.
Thanks to my sister for this cool Christmas gift!

Finally got something that looks like a picture with this camera. I'm pretty happy with it, even with the vertical bands. My problem before was the len's flange focal length. The distance from the lens flange to the film was 42mm in the last image, which blurred my last roll of film. I found specs online for the correct distance for the Nikon F mount lenses, 46.5mm, so I moved the lens out 4.5mm.
This was taken in my garage with Kodak 400h, 20mm Nikon lens at f/5.6 with this camera
I'm not posing, I got caught trying to shut the camera off. This is cropped in half. the original film is twice as long, I let it rotate a couple times.
I'll try to correct the vertical banding problem next, which I'm pretty certain is from the plastic gears I added to the motor to slow it down.
Home-built 4x5 camera. Based on the 150-year old principle of the Sliding Box camera.
The lens is a ≈165mm Petzval lens with engraved aperture stops. It does not cover infinity (I have a 200mm lens for that) but acts as a portrait lens.
The back came off a Cambo technical camera and takes standard 4x5 film holders, to straighten things out at the focus end.

Harman Direct Positive Paper FB
Agfa paper developer
This is one of the first images I made using the Harman Direct Positive Paper. I rated the paper at iso 3, following the specifications that come with the paper. I later found out that iso 6 is a more appropriate rating, especially if the paper has been pre-flashed, as I did.
The text has been typed using the actual Olivetti Lettera 32.
Direct positive images will be flipped horizontally. This could be a feature or a limitation, depending on the subject. Here I chose not to frame anything that could eventually distract and give away that the image is actually mirrored.

Kodaks type 101 roll film is very hard to find. I have all but given up on finding any to use as a reference. I know a few things about the film but I don’t know what the exact measurements are. So this will be called “Socialmocracy custom type 101 roll film”
Each frame is about 3.25” x 9” and I decided on 4 frames per roll. Again I have no clue what the OG film amount would have been. I found out the 101 and 122 film uses the same spool so that worked out perfectly. I own a number of Kodak folding brownie No. 3A cameras and they each came with an empty spool.

First two rolls with the Lomography Konstruktor. Fun camera, just need to play with the film transport, it tends to tear the sprockets and the shots are really far apart or bunch up together.
Basic coating of the individual camera parts is done with shellac. Next all parts are given a finish with bees wax.
