Looking over the village of Hathersage towards Mam Tor and the Great Ridge, from Fiddler's Elbow in the Peak District National Park, England.
Taken last autumn at Crummock Water. On this occasion, I visited the Lake District after a period of heavy rain, so Crummock Water was a little more full than usual! In fact it was that full that the path that runs along this part of the lake was fully submerged under water and I had to get to this bit by walking along the wall next to the path. My plan was to get some reflection shots of Grasmoor, and I was lucky enough that it was so still!
Xmas shopping complete and wrapped. Food shopping done. Organised for a change this year so back off up to The Lakes for a couple of days today.

The New Synagogue on Oranienburger Strasse in the district of Berlin-Mitte is a building of outstanding importance for the history of the Jews in Berlin and an important architectural monument. It was inaugurated in 1866. The remaining part of the structure is a listed building.
It was once the largest and most important synagogue in Germany and today is not only a place where Jewish life is practiced, but also a popular tourist attraction.

Today's Sunday is national mourning day, in Germany a public holiday to commemorate those who fell in the Second World War. therefore with these pictures I include the memory of the fate of the Jewish fellow citizens who were inflicted so much suffering in this period and who have an infinite number of deaths to mourn.

Volkstrauertag
Der heutige Sonntag ist Volkstrauertag, in Deutschland ein Feiertag zum Gedenken an die Gefallenen des Zweiten Weltkriegs. deshalb schließe ich mit diesen Bildern das das Andenken an das Schicksal der jüdischen Mitbürger denen in dieser Zeitperiode so viel Leid zugefügt wurde und unendlich viel Tote zu beklagen haben mit ein.

The Lake District is a region and national park in Cumbria in northwest England. Here's a shot from out of my usual stomping ground, took a drive over to the Peak District down Snake Pass, which is great fun :D Climber up to Bamford Edge, and this shot is overlooking Ladybower reservoir. Was waiting for a sunset that never really materialised, but managed to catch this brief moment where the light was just a little bit awesome :)

Shot in January this year when I had the opportunity to visit the Peak District for a couple of hours. Walking at the top of a small mountain ridge, the sun just came through the clouds and the light was amazing. I guess that this was just luck-)
I worked on a initial version of this photo and since I work with Lightroom CC (in combination with Photoshop), I thought to give it another try. I'm actually amazed what you can pull from a file from the LX3, an older camera with some limits. But it's all about the picture and I'm pretty proud about this one!
