Such a lovely place to sit. Shortly before setting the camera up a couple swans past by, but I wasn't quick enough to capture them. Thanks for looking.
There's something about a rainy afternoon that makes me reminisce. A long time ago there was a guy in my life like this, unfortunately he wasn't only a sweet summer storm but there were full blown hurricanes that came with him so, much like every storm eventually ends, so did our relationship. I hope wherever he is he finally found what he was looking for. ♡♡♡

Rain on a Tin Roof - Julie Roberts
His eyes are blue just like the ocean
His heart is a river free
And now and then he gets the notion
And he finds his way to me
His love’s like…
Rain on a tin roof
The sweet song of a summertime storm
And oh, the way that it moves you
It’s a melody of passion ragin’ on
And then it’s gone
He tells me he’ll be back to see me
Every time he has to go
And I keep wondrin’ just when that’ll be
‘Cause with him you never know
His love’s like…
Rain on a tin roof
The sweet song of a summertime storm
And oh, the way that it moves you
It’s a melody of passion ragin’ on
And then it’s gone
And just like a thirsty field, I can’t complain a bit
‘Cause I’m thankful for every single drop I get
Buildings of the business district "Red Hills". The construction took more than ten years; as a result, a business center, concert halls, a five-star hotel appeared here.

Xmas shopping complete and wrapped. Food shopping done. Organised for a change this year so back off up to The Lakes for a couple of days today.
This is another from our last visit.
A quiet spot up here along Harland edge, the lower part of the moor can be quite busy but that's not the case up here, never a soul about..
Here's a shot from out of my usual stomping ground, took a drive over to the Peak District down Snake Pass, which is great fun :D Climber up to Bamford Edge, and this shot is overlooking Ladybower reservoir. Was waiting for a sunset that never really materialised, but managed to catch this brief moment where the light was just a little bit awesome :)
A lovely view over the beautiful
