This is an idea I've had on my list to-do for a little over a year. I started with the colors I had on hand, but plan to expand the available colors in the near future.
The display disc is a custom laser cut acrylic disc friction fit with a 1x2 building plate.
The 1x2 plate can be affixed permanently, switched out with a brick, different colored plate or stacked with other discs to make a multi-colored figure display base.
Dimensions: 1/14" x 1 1/4" x 1/8" per disc.

Disc Golf at McCurry Park here in Fayetteville Georgia.
A sport very similar to golf except using discs.
They look very much like frizbees to me. :-)
The first image is a diagram of hole #3.
My shadow is over the tee itself.
The second image shows the course through the trees.
The "hole" is hardly visible in the background.
The third image is hole #3 itself.
The disc must be thrown into the basket.
Much fun for anyone!

Blanc CDs were once commonly used for backups, distribution of custom software and client documents.
Every year, It is becoming more and more challenging to find a use for them. It seems most are found on Flickr as photo subjects.

I’m thankful that wider tires are en vogue. This Willits style ISO disc brake mount pretty much negates any flex (and some say beauty) of a raked fork blade. But with a 650x47 tire, the ride will feel just fine. These require a bit of work to get them to fit a curved blade. Since every builder has their own signature curve, it unfortunately can’t be a standardized item. #bicyclebuilding #discbrakes #chapmancycles
In 2021 I intend to use a different film format each month, staring with the smallest and working my way up the sizes. In January I used the Minox format, for February I'm using the obsolete Disc Film format. The negative size is the same as that of the Minox 8mm x 11mm, but there are 15 negatives on a rotating disc rather than on a roll of film. The discs were last made in 1999, I have a few left, the most recent one expired in 1994, so the results are likely to be poor.
With all of its white headcode discs folded down out of use, Class 20 no. D8059 (20059) gets ready to leave Kidderminster Town with the 0910 to Bridgnorth, working in conjunction with classmate D8188, which was fresh from overhaul, having been repainted back to BR Green after a spell in Black, for which it was disguised as a Soviet armoured train in the Bond film "GoldenEye".

Kodak VR film, expired 1986, processed in the Tetenal C41 kit.
I shot this panorama at the vulcanic island Nea Kameni, part of Thera (Santorini). It consists of 38 photos, stitched together in Photoshop.
The weird thing is that 180° of the panorama is in the upper part, whereas the other 180° is in the bottom part, upside down. The transition from upper to lower part is hardly visible, making it look like a landscape with its mirror image reflected in the water. However, since the mirror images don't match, it might as well be a picture of Disc world.

Played around with a couple of other designs. I really like the minifig stand!
