Motocross is a form of off-road motorcycle racing held on enclosed off-road circuits. The sport evolved from motorcycle trials competitions held in the United Kingdom. Motocross is the most physically demanding sport held in all-weather conditions.
I know it's been a LONG while, but we've been busy!
Little Reese here likes to dig holes in our backyard. And not just dig, she likes to eat the dirt as well. And then she acts all innocent like she didn't do a thing!
Puppies... they could get away with murder! And she's only 3 months!
My friend Artsy is never without her dirtpod (or pavementpod, bookpod, floorpod, tilepod, handpod, handrailpod..etc).
I tried it, I may never need an actual tripod again
Dirt on the specs, captured with my Fuji X100's with a macro lens converter.
Processed in Aperture using a self created preset.
Or what I do when I'm not working.
One of the sewer lines on our house was never connected to the street. The 4" drain line was connected to a holding take - sort of like a septic system, but it has no leach field. Time to change that (after being here for over 30 years).
After digging around a while, I located where the drain excited the house. It was in a good spot for continuing the new pipe in a straight line. The new trench shows that path. After leaving this little shed, the new pipe travels about 20 more feet before connecting to an existing line, which in turn connects to the street. It's a long run.
The small drain line on the left and above the 4" line is the drain for the bathroom sink and shower. That will be connected to the main line when all the work is finished.
I lied. I'm never not working.
We agree- the best food is from the dirt!
We've been vegan for 13 years now and are amazed at how far vegan food has come in that time. We have never felt deprived (quite the opposite), but it's still so awesome to see restaurants like this exist.

Out on our dirt bike ride along the Colorado River. We had to grab some paved road for a few to get where we were trying to go....
"If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there" - (Lewis Carroll or George Harrison, depending on who you believe)

My favorite of the series. The cart is a dirt hauler. This is part of a series of photos taken of what's left of the farm that my wife grew up on in Zeeland, Michigan. The barn and chicken coop remain, but the fields are gone and what remains is surrounded by housing developments, strip malls, factories and schools.
