🇫🇷 Le village de Megalochori se trouve au centre de l’île principale de Santorin du côté de la caldeira en direction du Sud. À la différence des villages les plus recherchés comme Oïa ou FIra, il n’y a pas de vue sur les falaises ou sur la mer sauf à s’avancer à pied en direction de l’Ouest. Cet inconvénient n’en est finalement pas un car Megalochori a pu rester un petit village agréable et résidentiel loin du tumulte du tourisme.
🇬🇧The village of Megalochori lies in the centre of the main island of Santorini, on the south-facing side of the caldera. Unlike the most sought-after villages such as Oïa or FIra, there is no view of the cliffs or the sea unless you walk westwards. In the end, however, this disadvantage is not a serious one, as Megalochori has managed to remain a small, pleasant, residential village far from the hustle and bustle of tourism.
🇬🇷Το χωριό Μεγαλοχώρι βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του κύριου νησιού της Σαντορίνης, στη νότια πλευρά της καλντέρας. Σε αντίθεση με τα πιο περιζήτητα χωριά, όπως η Οία ή η Φλύρα, δεν υπάρχει θέα στους βράχους ή στη θάλασσα, εκτός αν περπατήσετε προς τα δυτικά. Τελικά, ωστόσο, αυτό το μειονέκτημα δεν είναι σοβαρό, καθώς το Μεγαλοχώρι έχει καταφέρει να παραμείνει ένα μικρό, ευχάριστο, οικιστικό χωριό μακριά από τη φασαρία του τουρισμού.
🇩🇪Das Dorf Megalochori befindet sich im Zentrum der Hauptinsel Santorini auf der Seite der Caldera in Richtung Süden. Im Gegensatz zu den begehrteren Dörfern wie Oïa oder FIra gibt es hier keinen Blick auf die Klippen oder das Meer, es sei denn, man geht zu Fuß in Richtung Westen. Dieser Nachteil ist letztendlich kein Nachteil, da Megalochori ein kleines, angenehmes Wohndorf fernab des Tourismusrummels bleiben konnte.
El pueblo de Megalochori se encuentra en el centro de la isla principal de Santorini, en la cara sur de la caldera. A diferencia de los pueblos más codiciados, como Oïa o FIra, no hay vistas de los acantilados ni del mar, a menos que se camine hacia el oeste. Al final, sin embargo, esta desventaja no es grave, ya que Megalochori ha conseguido seguir siendo un pueblo pequeño, agradable y residencial, lejos del bullicio del turismo.

Alla fine, però, questo svantaggio non è grave, perché Megalochori è riuscito a rimanere un piccolo e piacevole villaggio residenziale, lontano dalla frenesia del turismo.

Une colonie importante arrive chaque année dans cette zone de reproduction, sur la rivière Isère, très près de son affluence dans le fleuve Rhône...Je l'ai découvert plus tard.
Un jour, quand les jeunes, nés dans la Drôme donc, sont prêts à voler, ils dérivent un peu, puis partent tous ensemble, avec leurs géniteurs, pour une aventure vers le Sud, vers la Méditerranée, à environ 240kms...
J'étais là, par hasard. J'adore ces moments où quelque chose se passe dans l'ordre naturel. Il faut comprendre vite, saisir l'intant magique, et vérifier ensuite ce qui s'est passé, pour ne pas se tromper :)
Je n'ai appliqué aucun traitement, comme à mon habitude. Je préfère une certaine poésie, offerte par la prise de vue et mes réglages "instinctifs"...et je voyage avec le sujet :)

The theatre pays great attention to the development of national playwriting, and at the same time the National Theatre is open to all innovative and remarkable creative initiatives.
The theatre building was designed by the famous architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer and completed in 1906. The theatre has three stages: the Main Stage with 780 seats, the Chamber Hall with 135 seats and the Apostol Karamitev Stage with 88 seats. However, other spaces, including rehearsal rooms, balconies and spaces around the building, have built a reputation as a venue for artistic events and are open to diverse ideas.

This is a very lucky shot of a Galapagos Hawk. Our group was standing on the cliff edge waiting for the blow hole to do its thing when I spotted this Galapagos Hawk lift off from the point further along. It soared along the cliff edge towards us (see 5549) before disappearing from my view behind the heads of others in the group. When it reappeared from behind the others, it was close, very close. It looked like it wanted to land right in front of us, but the sudden swinging of lenses in it's direction deterred it and it flapped away. With the 500mm, all I had was a frame full of Hawk. Espanola Island, Galapagos.
