In the center is the bank of DIP switches. Setting the 7th one to "on" (down) enables free play. Due to the angle, it's hard to make out individual switches. Full size lets you see them better.

"...Being from a farm in my boyhood it certainly is a sheep dip. The sheep would be yarded away from the camera in photo. Then, they would be pushed into the long concrete trench full of sheep dip to walk/swim towards the photographer. While they were walking/swimming along the trench my job would be to ensure the head was pushed under the dip mixture using a broom. This was to be sure the whole sheep was covered and protected from ticks etc. When the sheep had climbed out at the end of the dip they would be held on the sloping concrete slab so the excess dip mixture would drain off and run back into the dip. Today it would be very unusual for sheep farmers to dip sheep. They use a spray gun to spray a chemical down the whole length of the sheep ( the head and back). The chemical gravitates it’s way down around the sheep’s body to give the protection."

A delicious, creamy dip that is good with chips

I'm still playing with different dips for our flax seed crackers. I liked using ricotta as it had a thick texture. This time I decided to try a sour cream / cream cheese blend to give it more of a dip taste. This one was a little light on thickness, but the taste was dead on.
Here is the recipe I used:
- 6 small sweet bell peppers roasted
- 2 large heads of roasted garlic, recipe follows
- 1 container of cream cheese
- 1 container of sour cream
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lemon juiced
