Piano is now on "casters" (i.e. tiny jewellery box cabinet knobs). I am pretty happy with this little detail!
Also, after MANY failed attempts, I finally got the TV to have a working light inside! It involved taking apart a puck light, and drilling a hole in the back for the cord. I still need to cover the rest of the hole (and seal the inside) with black electrical tape, so it stops shining out of the cracks where the plastic pieces fit together. But omg you guys, this has been a struggle FOREVER. Alas, it's also REALLY difficult to photograph. But hopefully you get the idea!
Speaking of lighting, I also FINALLY found the fourth IKEA dioder light strip, which is now set up over the piano. I want to get another set at some point, but for now, I'm pretty happy!

Detalle del muro del último patio ceremonial en la Huaca de Cao Viejo del complejo arqueológico el Brujo, Distrito de Magdalena de Cao, Provincia de Ascope, Departamento La Libertad, Perú.
La huaca data del año 200 DC. Debió ser un centro administrativo y ceremonial moche que controlaba el valle de Chicama. Fue abandonada hacia el año 650, poco antes de un fuerte fenómeno del Niño. Las lluvias torrenciales acabaron por devastar el monumento. Posteriormente, fue utilizada por la cultura lambayeque (siglo VIII al XIV) como cementerio.
Las paredes de la huaca están decoradas con relieves policromados que representan sacrificios humanos, guerreros o motivos fantásticos entre otros. Este mura representa al dios moche Ai apaec.

I finally completed the desert dio I started planning last year, and I'm very happy with the results. The colors I picked were sitting around for months, but the whole piece with the cave mouth was something I only thought of a few days ago. I had an odd piece of styrofoam and decided I could paint it up like a cavern entrance.
For my first picture with it, the natural choice was the VAMP mk 2 and some of our oldest friends, Clutch, Grunt, and Dusty.

Location: Madison County Nature Trail on Green Mountain, Huntsville, AL, USA
While trailblazing atop Green Mountain earlier this year in Spring, the setting was perfect in capturing the Cambron Covered Bridge from afar while the water was still. Although the sun was higher than I preferred, it lit the clouds and sky above to a perfect tone.
