Specialist Coche’ Williams, of the 108th ADA, hands out a food order to PV2 Thomas Carroll of the 108th ADA. The new Grab and Go drive through at the 108th ADA DFAC opened April 4th and allows solders to order and pick up food on the go.PV2 Carroll sitting in his car at the drive through window said, “This is a great idea. It is fast when I have to get back to work.”

About the 401st:
The 401st Army Field Support Brigade provides Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and Marines, the tools and resources necessary to complete the mission. If they shoot, drive it, fly it, wear it, eat it or communicate with it, the 401st helps provide it. The brigade assists coalition partners with many of their logistical and sustainment needs. Fort Gordon military members and DOD civilians were able to get an early taste of a Thanksgiving meal Nov. 21 at dining facility #8. Col. Todd Turner, Fort Gordon garrison commander and Command Sgt. Maj. Charlie Bryant Jr., garrison command sergeant major, were on hand to help serve everyone coming through the food line. Each year a dining facility serves a Thanksgiving meal early to give everyone who will not be on post on Thanksgiving Day a chance to eat the bountiful meal provided. Please join us in congratulating the @Warrior Inn Dining Facility Chefs for going above and beyond with their Thanksgiving Meal. They secured 1st Place in “The Commanding Generals Thanksgiving Day “Best Mess” Award” for 2019. The tireless effort from the Warrior Inn DFAC Crew is a reflection of the pride and professionalism that is in every Warrior Soldiers heart. The Command Teams from across the Brigade, came together as servant leaders to give of their time and serve Soldiers and their families a wonderful Thanksgiving meal.
