Magna Curia palace in Deva, Romania. / A Magna Curia nevű palota Déván.
In 1582, the Hungarian captain Ferenc Geszty, in charge with the Deva Castle's garrison, erected a house at the foot of the citadel hill. Gabriel Bethlen started a radical transformation of the Renaissance style building in 1621, the result being the Baroque style Magna Curia palace. Since 1882, the County Museum, the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilisation, has been housed in the palace. Magna Curia was completely renovated in 2007.
A Magna Curiát egy 1582-es reneszánsz épületből Bethlen Gábor alakította a mai barokk palotává. 1882 óta a városi múzeum épülete, román időktől dák és római civilizációk bemutatója van benne. 2007-ben teljesen felújították.

A research collaboration between CITA and MAPT/Copenhagen
The DevA research project investigates the use of curved sheet material in architecture using hybridised 3D modelling and pattern cutting techniques. The project explores how digital design and fabrication technologies enable the development of new structural concepts through the new means of material specification and detailing at unprecedented levels of precision.
The project employs a practice based hand-on method based on the development of speculative probes, material protoypes and demonstrators. This method allows us a direct insight into the techniques and material properties in working with steel anddevelopable surfaces.

The new wihan (พระวิหาร), or shrine hall, at Wat Ratchathammaram (วัดราชธรรมาราม) in Maret on the southeast side of Koh Samui is being built very slowly. On panels inside, Devas - benevolent supernatural beings - dance and say prayers.
