The Land Rover G4 Challenge is a global adventure competition, and as the successor to the Camel Trophy it has off-road driving at its core. As of the cancelled 2008/2009 event, the G4 Challenge was to be run in support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
It's nice to have a friend with a bow and arrow in case a heffalump or woozle comes along. Hercules stands ready to help out his little buddy.

This German WWI cannon is mounted in Speers Point Park at the northern end of Lake Macquarie. According to the local council it is a minenwerfer, or German trench mortar. It was one of two donated to the Council after the war for display in the Park.

After a very long period of stop I used the Christmas holidays to return making MOCs. These are my version of Land Rover Defender, 3 and 5 doors.

On December 15 I changed the image by adding highlights to the archers arm, by adding the dragonflies to the foreground and a bit more noise to the whole composition.

Oktober, 14. is celebrated as the Intercession of the Theotokos day in Ukraine. Also it is the day of the Defender of Ukraine, as from the Middle Age Holy Virgin is honored as the intercessor of Ukrainian army, and Cossaks always had the Intercession church in the Sich.
The monument depicts a Kyiv citizen, a craftsman, who put off his work and took a weapon to defend Kyiv from the Horde of Batu-khan in 1240.
God bless our defenders, Kingdom of Heaven to those who died for Ukraine.
