you’re passing the streets,

all the windows and mirrors

and other people’s eyes.

and they leave you wondering...

what are they seeing?

we went to the cinema with some of Katie’s friends to see Inception, which was good but a bit confusing and I’ve been really tired all day.

I got my film developed and we went to eat something and then spent the rest of the day at Liam’s house, just hanging around really. :D getting home was an adventure but we eventually arrived there and sat around in Katie’s room for a bit and then went to bed at 3am.

Rosa's photo for today

“We’re Here!” -- showing everyone our Office Spaces. I’ve been working from home since I got an email on March 15th telling me not to come to the office until further notice. So far no “further notice” is in sight. Approximately 80% of our company is working from home spaces like this.

I can’t complain. I’m safe and comfortable and I’ve had some interesting little projects to work on. Still – well, you know. Sigh.

Just realised I didn't have a photo for today, so here are the trainers I bought this afternoon.

Not a very exciting photo, but it's a photo -----2019 one photo each day.

Celebrated today February 17th in Europe; so today you're allowed to destroy the dolls...you do it anyway every other day :)

Well guys, it has been a while since I posted my latest MOC online. In fact this is the only thing I have built in the last two months. I have been able to acquire some more LEGO, but have just been to busy with real life, church, college, and family as of late. But it is great to build something!

--------------------------------------

This build is really inspired from chapter 15 of my novel. The lady Alice, seated on the windowsill, looks our over the kingdom and dreams of the former times of peace. Her father, King Gavin is in the foreground. This room is meant to be at the top of an old tower, a hidden library of sorts, that has a spectacular view of the Kingdom below. Enjoy the Forced Perspective, it was a pain! :)

Happy Building,

Sir Valiant~

This is the day time shot from the previous shot to the image 'Angelus rising' taken the following dawn. I had planned to be here at sunset but let's just say that horizontal rain, sleet and 100km gales which rocked the hut kept me indoors ! [Deviant Art Gallery] [Facebook] [Web Gallery] [500px][G+]

Tomorrow 3/14 is Pi day in honor Pi (aka π) of course! π is defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference C to its diameter d. π is approximately 3.14159... It's decimal representation goes on forever, so irrational!

My husband and I have a special use for π . We multiply the time estimate for any task by π to get a more realistic estimate. So..if we think something will take an hour and we actually finish in less than 3.14159 hours we are happy. We call it "The rule of pi".

I actually stood on double yellow lines in between traffic to grab this shot. I cut out yellow paper to make the top part of the Pi symbol.

The group "We're Here" is celebrating Pi Day on 3/14 - check out their creative shots or even contribute one of your own!

A rainy day in the small village of Vagli Sotto in Tuscany. A young man with an umbrella walks alone through one of the medieval streets of the enchanting little town. Fine art street photography in black and white from Italy.

The Ornate Day Gecko occurs on Mauritius and surrounding Islands. They are usually found on Palm Trees, however this one had a liking for a fence panel. They vary quite a lot in colour some with turquoise backs with reddish spots. Their diet is insects and nectar. Go Large!

I like to spend holidays in that place - away from the city, nearby seashore, where you can rent cozy house almost in the forest…

Lorelei of the sea

Turns out the river was way colder than I expected. There was a lot of crazy face pulling going on, some of the outtakes I look as if I've been shot :p Sorry about the random/late uploading at the moment, I keep getting really uncertain about what to do with a photo so end up spending an extra day fiddling with it in photoshop. Processing has to be the most frustrating thing ever.

29 July is Global Tiger Day. It is no secret that our biggest cat is under serious threat. Less than 4,000 tigers remain in the wild. In a century humans have managed to reduce the global tiger population with 96%. Reasons are manifold, foremost poaching and illegal trade, habitat loss, climate change, mass tourism and man-animal conflict. This madness has to stop before these iconic animals join the rest of the many extinct species and will only be remembered like dinosaurs in books. International Tiger Day hopes to raise the awareness about the decline and to encourage conservation work.

Your comments are always welcomed and appreciated, but mostly I want to thank you, for just taking the time to look.

One from 2018 -- when we took travel for granted. This is an entry door to the wing of Dublin Castle where Bram Stoker, authour of 'Dracula', worked as a clerk for more than a decade. 'Dracula' came much later of course but Bram Stoker wrote a non-fiction book titled 'The Duties of Clerks of Petty Sessions in Ireland' after his experience in Dublin Castle. I don't know if that one is any good, but I can recommend 'Dracula' as a genuine classic. It's still scary!

Barbies are visiting Margo and wondering what she wears so dark and boring clothes!

After several cold and very windy days (gusts over 60 mph), today emerged as a beautiful, almost spring-like, day!

Some days you feel like you can't do anything, and others you feel like anything is possible.

Today I quit my job, my only actual source of income; I was having an anything is possible day. I want to photograph people. I want to make people happy and give them memories bundled up in photographs, not serve people who don't wish to look at me let alone speak to me in a grocery store. I hope tomorrow is an anything is possible day too, because in two weeks time I'll be jobless.

Drove down to the big lake to snap a few before the day was over.

Super that i can swim!

SLR- single lens reflex

It's funny to think this Olympus OM 10, my first serious camera, is now regarded as vintage.

I bought it while on holiday in London in 1985 - the same year I met my husband, which I guess makes him vintage too!

The lens is still one of my favourite which I use with a converter.

Well, holy crap, I did it.

Yikes.

This is a throwback to my first self-portrait to bring this full-circle.

It's been an awesome experience, I've definetly grown... whats that? lists? Okay!

On New Years Day we took a trip to Greenwich Market where they have a display of old cars and bikes together with a retro disco and a live band. A very fun filled afternoon, although a tad busy this year. They also have loads of stalls selling food from all around the world so you can imagine how good it smells.

Smile on Saturday’s Theme of old to new is perfect for this shot! Seeing in the New Year at a vintage market.

It is always a great day and you can start it on the beach.

"Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost

It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over

I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time

But I'm too young to worry

These streets we travel on

Will undergo our same lost past

I found you here, now please just stay for a while

I can move on with you around

I hand you my mortal life, but will it be forever?

I'd do anything for a smile

Holding you 'til our time is done

We both know the day will come

But I don't want to leave you

I see my vision burn

I feel my memories fade with time

But I'm too young to worry

A melody, a memory, or just one picture

Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost

It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over

Newborn life replacing all of us

Changing this fable we live in

No longer needed here so where do we go?

Will you take a journey tonight, follow me past the walls of death?

But girl, what if there is no eternal life?

I see my vision burn

I feel my memories fade with time

But I'm too young to worry

A melody, a memory, or just one picture

Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost

It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over

Trials in life, questions of us existing here

Don't wanna die alone without you here

Please tell me what we have is real

So, what if I never hold you, yeah

Or kiss your lips again?

Woah, so I never want to leave you

And the memories of us to see I beg don't leave me

Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost

It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over

Trials in life, questions of us existing here

Don't wanna die alone without you here

Please tell me what we have is real

Silence you lost me, no chance for one more day

Silence you lost me, no chance for one more day

I stand here alone

Falling away from you, no chance to get back home

I stand here alone

Falling away from you, no chance to get back home"

New day, new tiny people, new color and new props!!! Yes, today we have lots of new stuff… First of all, it is a green day at Color my World Daily Group, so this is my contribution to this fabulous group.

I have some new props and they are really difficult to work with… I got some trees, but I have hard time to keep them standing (and “straight” is very optional apparently…). Yes, I was cheap, and I bought the ones without any stands, so you have to use a huge amount of tack to keep them up!

I also have some new people to introduce: two waiting gentlemen. I like to think they are waiting for love …. Yes, I’m a big romantic. What else could they be waiting for???

Please, meet Mr. Grey and Mr. Light Blue (I’m thinking Reservoir Dogs, the movie by Q.Tarantino)… They are brothers, both are currently unemployed and single!!! As I said before, they are patiently waiting for love. They are romantics and they love spending time outside (which is very convenient because they don’t have any place to stay and they are couch-surfing at the moment…).

Also, both of them are very creative and have many unbelievable stories to tell (some sounds almost like lies, but who are we to judge ??) and they love to draw (but only in green which is their favorite color). So, if you know any single lady, green lover with an available couch, please let her know about Mr. Grey and Mr. Light Blue. You can meet them under a tree, in a park during the week’s day (from 9h to 5h) and at a local bar during the weekends (after 3h PM) …

So who likes green?? And how about Mr. Grey and his brother?

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts / positive vibes!! It is truly appreciated! Have a great day and see you soon!!
