Well this one is frosting up nicely. Still not super cold but we are getting there.

I decided I couldn't hold out any longer, I needed a macro lens. So I raided my ever-dwindling savings and this arrived yesterday. I know it's extravagant and there are cheaper macro lenses, but I know I'll get great use out of it and I see it as a worthwhile investment (see, I'm still trying to justify it to myself...) So hopefully there will soon be pictures taken with this lens rather than of it :)
This ^^ is the wall i had in my room. I Ripped it down the other day!
it was annoying me. so now it just has photos on it . haha thats why i need more!

We had to run into Perth for a few things that we can't get in Plevna at our little grocery store.
I brought my camera and on the way home stopped along Road 509 in Central Frontenac taken with the Lensbaby Composer Pro Sweet 35 optic

This dollarama seed plant that came in a box you just had to plant the seed tape in a pot in soil. It didn't bloom for the longest time. Now, with frost and cold nights setting in you can't kill this plant. Mike said the seeds must have been sown in some type of environmental waste as it's not like any normal plant.
I keep giving it a bit of water. We'll see how long it lasts. Time will tell. SOC no edits. Canon DSLR with a Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro lens at f4.5 with a macro filter on it as well.

Day two of the Scotland Trip started early. The previous evening I found this very cool place with a great view of the mountains and I woke up early to try and catch the sun rising.
When I got there I had no sun but quite a bit of rain, so I thought that was it for me, but because it was early and the rest of the troupe was sleeping I stayed for a little while longer and boy was I happy I did. Suddenly the clouds broke in the distance and this beautiful ray of sunshine came across . I did all I could to capture it as I saw it, truth is I don't have a bunch of experience with this type of settings, I'm always unsure what lens I should use and swap them around too much AND I was standing in a very wet marsh with no tripod trying to get reflections off the pond with my brand new camera, the mental image of me doing one of two colossal fu...Slip ups was with me the whole time.
I didn't, and after 30 minutes, several attempts and enough rain to make me question myself I went back for my first Full Scottish breakfast 😋

As the name implies, blooms on day lilies only last a day, but they have lots of them. Diane deadheads them to keep them looking their best. On this day. my favorite group is the one shown.
Today I woke up in the mood to hear some vinyls, Ramones, Dead Boys, Alphaville and so on .... love the sound quality that the old radios transmit us ... very warmly despite being very young I don't review in "21 century digital boy I still think time brings us fantastic memories and with quality. Sunday was a day of sky transitions-it morphed from a sunny start to moody subdued to subtle colors. Mother Nature is rarely boring.

Hope the new year will be a bright and colorful, as this beautiful and peaceful scenic 7 Lakes Drive.
Seven Lakes Drive is a north–south parkway located in the Hudson Valley region of New York in the United States. It extends for just under 18 miles (29 km) on a northeast–southwest alignment from an intersection with New York State Route 17 (NY 17) in the village of Sloatsburg to a junction with U.S. Route 9W (US 9W) and US 202 south of the Bear Mountain Bridge in the town of Stony Point. Most of the highway is located in either Harriman or Bear Mountain state parks, except for a small stretch near its western end. Ownership of Seven Lakes Drive is split between three entities, two of which are also responsible for maintenance of the road.
As its name implies, Seven Lakes Drive passes by seven lakes located at various points along the road. From south to north, the lakes are Lake Sebago and Lake Kanawauke in the towns of Haverstraw and Tuxedo; Lake Skannatati and Lake Askoti in Tuxedo; Lake Tiorati in Tuxedo and Woodbury; Silver Mine Lake in Woodbury; and Queensboro Lake in Highlands.

I've been practising with Photoshop to try something different.This is the main square in Prague and was taken in the middle of the day!!!
Bridge Day is the day they shut down the highway crossing the New River Gorge bridge and have base jumpers go off the bridge. You can see the chutes of 2 jumpers in the middle of the image. On the left side of the bridge are the rappelling lines from underneath the bridge deck down the the railroad tracks below.

The weather has turned cold again but there were some amazing clouds when we took Fudge for a walk this evening.
Three months done and I've managed to take a photo every day so far this year even though life is very busy at the moment.
Hopefully I'll get time to catch up on all your images and commenting soon.
