A fluffy and gorgeous spider... right?!
The well known and eye-catching David Bowie Huntsman is an incredible spider from the rainforests of south-east Asia! 🌳
These spiders are always on the prowl at night, actively walking around vegetation and trees to locate other invertebrates or even small reptiles! ️
I was SO excited to see my first one of these spiders on a rainy night in Thailand! 💛
The steps and front entrance to Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art, December 2014. This was for the "David Bowie Is" exhibit. I went to this twice and was mesmerized. The first time was a madhouse and the second I basically had the museum to myself.
I never got around to processing this at the time. RIP David Bowie.

Heteropoda davidbowie is a species of huntsman spider of the genus Heteropoda. It was described from the Cameron Highlands district in Malay Peninsula in honor of singer David Bowie.
This spider was spotted a few feet from the Green crested Lizard
David Bowie installation at the Broadway-Lafayette subway station by Spotify. A tribute to Bowie as well as a promotion for the exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. The subway station is the one closest to where David Bowie and Iman lived in New York. I once saw them crossing the street near the Museum of Modern Art.

David Bowie in concert during the Sound and Vision Tour, The Point Depot, Dublin Thurs 9th of August 1990, here with Adrian Belew
It couldn't really be any other artist today. I first saw him on the Serious Moonlight tour - me and a mate from school snagged a lift down from Stoke as far as Oxford then hitch-hiked the rest of the way to Milton Keynes Bowl - we slept underneath a prefab portaloo as it started raining, but we managed to get in first and get down the front. Next saw Bowie on the Glass Spider Tour at Maine Road, which was very showbiz, but in a weird way. The final time that I saw him was when he played the Outsider Tour in 1995 at the NEC in Birmingham on 20th November - with a certain Steven Patrick Morrissey providing support.

They will ever be remembered for influencing music.
This is my personal tribute to David Bowie.
I was always fascinated by his music! Brings me back to my teenage years.
"Heroes" was one of my favourite songs at the time and was really big in Germany.
As always! Thanks for looking
